I went to Manchester for the weekend and decided to try out going from Waterford. Fantastic airport so much better to use than Dublin. When I go to Spain next year, I'll fly from here to Luton and change to another flight onto Spain. Fuck Dublin!
Much prefer this airport than Dublin. I can't stand those 20 minutes queues at security in Dublin. And the walk to the gates are so long especially to the ones in pier D
I regulary visit family in Kildare so I fly Luton-Waterford and take a train to Kildare. Hell of a lot less stress and worth every penny of the extra money.
@nwlondoner9 I have relatives in London and I often book a day return with Aer Arann for a Sunday. I get up at around 6:15, leave my house in Waterford at 6:40, catch the 7:30 flight at Waterford Airport and I'm at my destination by 10:30.
When I go on holiday, I fly from Waterford to London and transfer to another flight with Ryanair, EasyJet or Monarch to get to my destination.
Waterford is so much better to use than Dublin. There are dozens of pros and no cons. Cork Airport is not bad.
