  • @erikchandy I would agree with you but I can't understand what the fuck you're saying

  • He's my rb in fantasy this week

  • why was he drafted so late?

  • @Wangste002 because hes white.

  • @Wangste002

Becuase he is white! If you think there is prejudice to everyone but white your blind. Same with Tebow half people are for half not because plays like a black QB

  • and the same reason that nobody thinks he can be a feature back, people are suggesting drafting another runningback since Adrian Peterson is hurt. Gerhart has performed well in his absence, over 100 yards yesterday on 11 carries, and 2 90 yard games when Peterson was out with the ankle sprain. He might not be as good as Adrian Peterson but he can be good like a Michael Turner type, at worse Shonn Greene. He ran a 4.53 at 230 pounds and has a great initial burst, and he can catch

  • what a beast. should have won the heisman

  • I like the corner at 6:50

  • I bet if Gerhart looked back on his life he would have taken the Major league offer.

  • most of these clips look like europe vs. africa at football, lets be honest.

  • @knightschwartz ur an idiot

  • notice he doesn't show boat like Terrel Owens. European class.

  • oh my god! a white runningback! whose good! and a white football team! thats won 11 games straight.

  • Alright, will Stanford retire 7 now?

  • there's no way ingram should've won the heisman.

  • not hatin but tht offense only had one black starter aand they an elite program.. prty damn impressive

  • @MrBadballer360 What's it matter?

  • @MrBadballer360 Well Stanford does not take idiots so that is why you see no blacks.

  • @lStakl Or it could be the 400 year head start white americans had. or the fact African Americans are only 13% of the population so the percentage with ivy league grades is from a smaller pool. There are more white idiots as well as whites who do well in school, Because there are more whites in this country. Its simple mathematics. You ignorant child.

  • @blkbmr10 400 years? My ancestors didn't even go to school a 100 years ago. There is a smaller pool, because their scores are lower ON AVERAGE.

  • @dwid1984 you are amazingly ignorant.

  • @blkbmr10 Really? Why don't you tell me about my own Irish history? and how we were treated by the English....Do the test scores lie? because you can accurately test the IQ of anyone, a 2 year old, yet somehow there is always an excuse for a particular group of people.

  • why has every other struggling group managed to lift themselves up in a few generations? Jews, Koreans etc.

  • He didnt win the superbowl because he is white

  • slightly slower and smarter version of peterson

  • I am still not sure why Toby Gerhert didn't win the Heisman over Mark Ingrham... Better stats on a worse team. I don't get it.

  • if the vikes new qb ponder does good then they could be real contenders with peterson and gerhart in the backfield. very powerful runners. they need to give toby more carries next year so adrian doesn't get worn out too early in his career

  • nice video... with good white music and a good traditional white running back

  • this dude is so nice i hope he ends up as good has peyton hillis

  • Powerful, athletic, academically successful. Great role model for young kids. Then he gets hidden in the NFL. F-ck those backroom powers who stuck Toby behind Peterson. That's no accident. No way. Keep making vids dwid.

  • @funkybjorn11 I sure will. Like I always say, the tape doesn't lie. The draft experts can make up all the things they want, but I saw him do well when given the carries. He had a longer run than C.J. Spiller who was supposed to be a "speedster" and "homerun threat". He averaged almost a full yard more per carry than Jahvid Best, another guy who supposed to be better, Best had 3.2 ypc on 171 carries. The thing is both of those backs got every chance to start unlike Toby

  • @dwid1984 Ya he is good but Peterson is the best back in the NFL. Im glad we have both of them on this team too dont get me wrong.

  • @funkybjorn11 so your saying toby starts over AP? ridiculous

  • @JDunks04 im saying that there were plenty of other teams that needed an every down back. Isn't it ODD that he was drafted to a team that already had a superstar where theres no way he could challenge to start. Look at Jacob Hester rushed for 1k in the SEC, every down back, drafted to the Chargers who had LT, does he get to start when LT declines? Nope, people forgot that he was a tailback. Same thing with Leonard and Rams/Steven Jackson

  • @dwid1984 bills neeeded a back, they took Spiller, he sucked last year, Chargers needed a back, took Matthews who is good but couldn't stay healthy in the Wac, Surprised he spent most of the year injured. Saints needed one but waited til this year to draft someone smaller and slower. Texans traded back instead of picking, got Ben Tate who was avg, luckily they had Arian Foster, UDFA. It took SIX backs to get injured for Hillis to get a shot at tailback, then benched after proving himself.

  • then Mangini finally had the balls to pick him up and use him after Hardesty was injured, Mangini was also the guy who brought Woodhead in but he tore his knee. Ryan got rid of him for Clowney

  • @dwid1984 alright, yee tobys pretty good but there was just a lack of superstars at the draft at the runningback position in general

  • @JDunks04 Thats the point, Toby WAS the superstar back for his draft but downgraded cuz of skin color. He was the only one who had the tools to be a top 10 workhorse back in the league coming off a monster season. The guys b4 him, 2 were 3rd down scatbacks, Matthews a smaller version of Gerhart with a bigger injury history in a weaker conference. They couldve picked Toby.... Hes better than Moreno and Wells who went in the first and better than Ingram who was the 1st back taken this year

  • @dwid1984 Mathews is Mulatto and is a stud right now. Looks like he deserved to be the number one back in that draft class. Gerhart can warm the bench for Peterson haha.

  • @lStakl yeah a stud that can't stay healthy. Better to be on the bench healthy than constantly rehabbing some injury. You draft someone to be a workhorse, can't be a workhorse if your not playing. Fat ass Tolbert is doing fine in his place

  • Respond to this video... Hester sucks in the NFL at RB and he is not that great at FB.

  • @lStakl thats why hes looked great every time hes gotten carries at tailback? yeah you really make alot of sense

  • HAHAHAA first football video without rap music

    THUMBS UP

  • best moment is at 8:09

  • CHECK OUT NFLDRAFT2013 VIDS ....THANKS

  • The only thing that I dislike is him going to the NFL and playing for the Viking's, stuck behind a running back that has all the tools that he has, and more. Sure, he'll get playing time, but when Peterson leaves, or gets hurt. In a plain out comparison of athleticism, Peterson is faster, and knows how to use his strength better.

  • Toby is such a threat. tackle him low, and he'll put a quick move on you and make you miss. tackle him high, he'll over power you.

  • monster...but i feel trent richardson out of alabama would have done the same thing if he played in the pac ten

  • that white boy will bang with you man..i love it

  • DAMN!!! AND HES WHITE

  • see that ol working they are awesome with the respect of toby

  • The real Heisman right here... To bad hes stuck behind fumble Mcgee Afrolete Peterson.

  • should have won the Heisman!

  • Do a video on Zach Line from SMU ran for 139 against TCU a good run-d team, not as fast as Gerhart but looks like a strong runner.

  • @Jwall7007 yeah ive been working on a video of him. He has been a pleasant surprise this year.

  • Chris Wells vs. Toby Gerhart whod do you take?

  • @vhrocks4 honest gerhart for speed. he ran a 4.5 at the combine i think wells ran wat a 4.6? plus gerharts a pissed off runner! look at the Notre dame game is all i can say!

  • @vhrocks4 Gerhart.

  • ha look at that truck at :49 it looked like nothing even happened

  • Only one minor knock on Toby. He reminds me of a lot of Peyton Hillis. Perhaps not quite as strong, but faster than Hillis, and runs really high. Hillis suffered a couple of broken transverse processes back in college. Linebackers were always begging linemen to stand him up so they could take the shot. He's damn sure got the tools. If he learns to hit the line a little lower, his career will be extended by several years. Here's hoping he makes it big.

  • @LiamMJackson Hillis and Gerhart are very different, Hillis has a kamikaze/blasting style, but he is 250, and still manages to average 4 to 5 ypc with this style. Hillis is more apt to take guys head on with a big collison, while Gerhart takes more angles and runs slyly off of blockers hips and never seems to get lit-up. Gerhart still lowers his shoulders a millisecond before contact.

  • I only recall Gerhart getting lit up once in college football, it was a pitch that was snufed out by Rey Malauga and Taylor Mays, they both hit him at the same time. They couldn't get a good hit on him the rest of the game and he was only 1 of 2 players to rush for 100+ yards against that USC defense who had 10 players drafted into the NFL. notice how most of his runs defenders only get their hands on him because hes got great acceleration

  • he was a beast in college and hopefully be just as good in the NFL the only thing that I noticed was he never really out ran anyone he was more of a quick punishing back

  • Reminds me of Earl Campbell

  • Comment removed

  • he's a Throwback runner. like Running back's in the old days...power runner

  • Damn, I'm a lions fan but Toby an ap in the back field wow!!!!!!

  • he will be if not better than mike alstott in his early nfl years. a complete beast

  • hes a very good back he is tough to bring down and he does have some good moves...his line though are making excellent blocks..those pulling guards are tremedous

  • man i wish he would have gone 2 da chargers

  • @CHEET0S209 I wish they would have too but they had their chance but they pussed out and grabbed a guy that couldn't stay healthy in the wac and is smaller, he will be good but won't be the workhorse that LT was. Texans pussed out too and picked a guy that can't run up the middle and would be horrible for their zone blocking scheme. Every big run Tate had in college was to the outside, and we've all seen how good a player like that winds up in the NFL (Reggie Bush, who is faster than Tate)

  • @dwid1984 Vikings 4 Ever!

  • nice video of toby gerhart! nice music too!

  • Just immagine what he'll be able to do with the stellar offensive line the vikings have

  • lets get a first down then get a touchdown rock em sock em fight fight fight

  • Adrian Peterson + Toby Gerhart = Best power RB combination in NFL

  • woo danzig

  • With this guy and All Day AP....don't see vikings punting much!lol I'm ready for another amazing year! Go Vikes!

  • yay! another weapon for my vikes.

  • He's a viking

  • @654321monster hes amazin. just like the vikes

  • 08:10, i remember watching that live and laughing so hard. Gonna be a fun season watching Toby and Adrian running over DB's.

  • If A,Peterson dont learn to hold on to the ball better T.Gerhart will become more valuable to the Vikings real fast, the Vikes running game will be hard to stop, this kid is a true stud

  • This guy runs just lik ap

  • Gerhart's amazing. Lost the Heisman due to retard heisman voters like the Bay Area's own Barry Tompkins. Nice job Tompkins you effing tool. Watch Gerhart run. See Minnesota win. It's gonna be good. Fack Ingram...did you see the Heisman broadcast where Ingram said his favorite class is watching "Family Guy"....hello "student?-athletes" from Bama. Total joke. Gerhart Deserves the Heisman. He earned it.

  • im not sure but didnt he break pac 10 rushing rushing TD record???

  • Pete Carroll is still having nightmares about Tobys 200 total yd, 3TD performance against USC! (Paraphrasing) "When we recruited Toby, we thought of him as a fullback"-Pete Carroll and EVERY OTHER D1 PROGRAM, less Stanford and Duke. Every year Rivals, Scout, D1 football tries to discredit otherwise talented white HALFBACKS. Usually, they simply refuse to let them play halfback, but Toby persevered! Toby proved how little these idiots know by proving he was the best HB-not FB-in his class!

  • put pat williams at fullback , with gerhart & A.P. and run the wishbone.

  • much better fit for the vikings then taylor was. Gherhart can be very dangerous in the 4th quarter for fatigued d's

  • @thatguy9328 well you cant say too much stuff about taylor for a few years before peterson he had over 1,000 yds

  • @jpsumner128 taylor was good and i was surprised the vikes drafted ap. But i just think a power runner as a backup with the combination of ap is more dangerous

  • @thatguy9328 Hey I totaly agree. I didnt dis agree at first, I just thought Chester Was Really good too. He went out there to maybe start but now Chesters out there to back up Forte. Which realy pisses me off (alot). I think he still has the potential to be a good Tail back. But back to minnesota all we really need to do is get Peterson to not drop the ball. Like he did in the playoffs (reminds me of Dickerson alot too).

  • Great clip, thanks for the lack of replays. This kid will be fun to watch in the NFL. Stanford played quality opposition and he still rolled. And Taylor Mays does look like a first-class pussy here.

  • I would compare him to like say a Brandon Jacobs type running back, big and bruising yet a bit quicker. Seems like a solid pick for the Vikes.

  • taylor mays looked like a fool trying to tackle Toby. Trying to aim for the knees and arm tackling. Uhhh didnt work.

  • Bears fan here, and i gotta say the Vikes got a scary ass running game this year. AP.. and now TG..... this is freaking insane.

  • Toby AVERAGED 200+ yards against ranked opponents in 2009. He's a monster, and now he's OUR monster! :)

  • adrian peterson 2.0

  • If you think the vikes should have used their 2nd rounder on Taylor Mays (#2), Watch the highlights against USC. Gerhart embarrasses his ass the whole game, even when they know its a run with eight in the box they still couldn't stop him.

  • "They asked if it made me feel entitled, or like I felt I was a poster child for white running backs. I said, No, Im just out there playing ball. I dont think about that. I didnt really know what to say. -Toby Gerhart " I guarantee you if he was the exact same guy but he was black hed go in the first round for sure, the scout said. **If this happened to black QB, AKA "do you feel like the poster child for black QBs...could you imagine?! FOR MORE GRADE A RACISM, CLICK ON PROFILE AT ONCE!!!!

  • if toby gerhart was on x men he would be juggernaut , he is a beast and i like that now he is with the vikings imagine a package with him and adrian peterson on the field at the same time can u say CRAZY

  • This WHITEY is gonna stick his fat white cock down the throat of the Fudge Packer Defense!!!!! Chester who???? Suck it!!!!

  • To the person who posted this video, THANK YOU. Nice to see a football highlight vid that doesn't have that crappy rap/r&b music... Especially for a beast RB like Gerhart. That dude is METAL all the way, so the Danzig is pretty appropriate.. haha

  • Cant wait to see what this kid can do in purple N gold

  • @J1mneyCr1cket u Minnesota fan?

  • @jpsumner128 Yeah dude, damn straight, have been for 8 years

  • GO VIKINGS!

  • This "DWID1984" is a major nerd and balllicker. I mean, who gets that excited about another man unless it's true LOL this dweeb has a meltdown when someone doesn't agree because it hits a nerve hahahaha

  • @miscsquared who sends there gay lover to post a message on youtube after they have been blocked?

  • @miscsquared Its hits a nerve because there are a 100 losers just like you, who come on this video every freaking day and hate on Gerhart with no real reason, except that hes white and playing a black position. Could be that they are racist blacks? or whites that are jealous because they don't have the athleticism to do what he does? or maybe they just don't like something different, either way, the same losers like you come on here saying the same crap with nothing to back it up

  • Bartlett Lake Arizona, is that you and hardcorehouse's own personal version of brokeback mountain?

  • @dwid1984 Bro your so right thank you!

  • @dwid1984 A so-called black position actually. I know and have seen tons of white boys capable of being tail backs. Examples in the NFL Gerhart, danny woodhead, and peyton hillis. Gerhart just needs another team because AP will get all the reps and it won't change no matter how good he does in practice or pre-season.

  • lets see, 6 backs injured before Hillis started and ran over the Jets, a team Mangini coached. Traded to the Browns for Brady Quinn (after siting on the bench in 09 to Moreno who had no game changing ability). Danny Woodhead, picked up by....Mangini, no one on the new staff cared for him having the best preseason rushing performance since 95. Bellicheck grabbed him up, one of the few coaches that has the balls to play white players at black positions.

  • with 32 teams and only 1 white starter (Woodhead is a situational 3rd down back) then what do you call the position. There are a few in college like Zach Line (highest rushing total at SMU since Eric Dickerson), Sam McGuffie (1200 from scrimmage last year 9 tds), JJ Di Luigi (1346 yards from scrimmage 9 tds). Rex Burkhead with 1100 yards from scrimmage and 7 tds while sharing time. Thats 4 guys out of 120 FBS teams. There are more black head coaches in college football.

  • this is despite the fact 25 states had whites as leading rushers, most had good/great measurables to go along with that. Stanford was the only team to give Gerhart a scholarship as a tailback, others wanted him as a fullback, usc wanted him as a fullback. Peyton Hillis was a tailback in college, rushing for 2,000+ yards 10 ypc his senior year, teams only wanted him as a fullback. They played him at every position besides tailback. Don't give me the McFadden/Jones cuz other schools couldve offerd

  • @dwid1984 Haha they're not black positions?

  • @dwid1984 personally i loved this vid gave me a lil more hope for playing college as a white running back

  • @SnipingKinq Lol don't get too comfy in your hope.

  • and someone in their 20's making videos of a football player is much different than a man in his 40's filming random guys dancing.

  • @dwid1984 LMAO! WOW! DEAD! THAT WAS A PRETTY GOOD COMEBACK! FAIL @MISCSQUARED... LOL!

  • @miscsquared uuhm are u mad because toby ran over your defense? if you are get over it,,, i mean god yu sound like a 5 yr child crying like a little bitch....

  • He just could be the next Ron Dayne of the NFL.

  • @hardcorehouse Ron Dayne was 250 pounds, slower than Gerhart and ran with no power, there is no similarity between him and Gerhart

  • @hardcorehouse at least hes not a 45 year old loser living with his mom that still is into techno. Jealous much?

  • My main man, Toby "the two ton truck" gets it done...once he gets his game face on and moves that 235 pounds...yardage. Will be a feature back and more durable than Mike Alstott. Can see him making a John Riggins impact on the league.

  • Ladies and Gentlemen.... the 2010 John Riggins.

  • I'm a fan of kentucky wildcat's so I saw a lot of Mark Ingram, Jr. (great Kid though) and too tell you the true Not a Big fan! I think most of what he ran for was becauce of his better O-line! plus they had more talent at WR! so no 8-man BOXES! So with 220 more Yards rushing 11 more TD'S why no Heisman! Hope my Cincinnati Bengal's draft him to go with BENSON and SCOTT!

  • NFL(.)com poll "which RB will have the best career?" Lists 5 RBs (including tiny scatback McCluster who had a slower 40 than Toby & may be more of a WR) & doesn't list Toby as an option. The NFL will try to do everything in their power to keep Gerhart from ever being a starter. They already are the most successful sports league right now & would prefer not to shake things up & give even 1 white RB a chance (ie. Hillis absolutely dominated for the Broncos & got benched).

  • Cant wait to see this guy in the NFL

He has plenty of Fans over here in England.......

  • toby reminds me alot of brandon jacobs, except a white version of him lol

  • still dont know why he didnt get the Heisman. Pretty annoying seeing that you virtually have to be in the national championship to win it nowadays.

  • Comment removed

  • He's carrying a ball which slows everyone down. B. Sanders never had more than 5 30+ yard runs in a season. I saw Barry caught from behind by faster CBs on long runs several times. Sanders had freakish agility, but still had no more than 5- 30+ yard runs in a season. BTW dwid you're off by 1, Jim Brown had 7 in a season, DeAngelo Williams broke his record w/ 8 and then Chris Johnson broke it last year with 10 I believe! I love your Steven Jackson/ Marion Barber comparison for Gerhart, I agree!

  • for someone with such a good 40time, he gets rundown a hell of a lot where it counts, on the field. Would make a good fullback or short yardage guy though. mid second round pick. Probably a quality player for good number of years.

  • most big power backs get caught from behind. He had 16 20+ yard runs this season, not to mention none of his receivers were fast enough to get down the field and block. every big run I see by other backs, they have receivers fast enough to block people down the field. The record for 30+ yard runs in a season for the NFL was 6, held by Jim Brown, it stood for years until DeAngelo Williams had 7, so this whole "homerun threat" is overrated because it doesnt happen that often in the NFL.

  • 11 of those were 25+ yards, thats quarter of the field, most teams get the ball at the 20, that would put them pretty close to midfield. Thats averages out to 1 per game. Not to mention for 20+ yard runs didn't include the ones that were close, tons of 15-19 yard runs. and the average run defense he faced was much higher than Spiller, Dwyer and Mathews, all guys ranked higher than him

  • well, about 1 per game

  • @Compasss not to mention 50 runs over 10 yards, his initial burst is the best, thats not a fullback or short yardage type of guy. He runs exactly like Corey Dillon , go look up his highlights, he had a good career in the NFL, at halfback. Gerhart is nothing like a fullback, he has never blocked in his entire life, except in pass protection for his quarterback , which every halfback does.

  • nobody can be barry sanders and steven jackson wrapped into one, hes not a scatback

  • Man it would be fun to see those type of plays in a Charger Uniform :S Damn !

  • 1.CJ Spiller

    2.Ryan Matthews

    3.Toby Gerhart'

    4.Javid Best

  • Gerhart ran a 4.53, faster than Dwyer and Dixon

  • and dexter mccluster who was supposed to be a 4.3 guy at 5'7 170, some had him ranked higher than Toby, ran a 4.55

  • what was toby's second time? I missed it

  • 4.58 was his second time. Dwyer's second time was 4.69

  • official time 4.55

  • hey Dwid they weighed Toby at 231 lbs at the combine, lets hope that helps him at the dumb combine, I really dont like the combine, its a make or break situation, Its really dumb focusing on the 40 time and not what they did on the field, Thats the reason my boy Ray Rice was taken in the 2nd round, Darren McFadden, Felix Jones, Rashard Mendenhall, Jonathan Stewart were all taken over him and he's better than them. I think it would be sweet to see Toby and Hester running the ball in SD.

  • im a Charger fan and would love to see this happen too man.. Toby Gerhart is also a great baseball play with great hands.. he is too strong and too valuable to pass up in the draft.. come on dean spranos! get toby!!!!!

  • I BET THE FARM HE WONT EVEN BE DRAFTED

  • that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. The lowest he is projected is the 3rd round on any mock. Ill take that bet, but I want more than a farm.

  • personally I don't see him falling out of the 2nd. He should be a first round pick but everyone is thinking he is going to have a bad combine, but he ran a 4.48 out of high school and recently timed at 4.43, so the lowest he will run is 4.5 electronically which should solidify a 1st round pick. Last combine none of the backs ran faster than a 4.45, Beanie Wells rans a 4.59 and Moreno ran a 4.62

  • Even Shonne Green didn't fall past the 3rd round despite having a poor combine . You do realize Gerhart won the Doak Walker award which is for nation's BEST halfback right?

  • what makes me think he wont have a bad combine? because he was timed at 4.43 recently which wouldn't trasnlate to any slower than 4.55 electronically. Which is plenty of speed for a power back. Green ran high 4.6- low 4.7 range I believe

  • looks like I was right according to a few people who timed him inside the building, he ran an official 4.55

  • bet u a hundred bucks he gos in atleast the 2nd round.

  • I wont take that bet. late first, early second I think. I want this guy's farm though, he bet it so he has to give it up.

  • 1:51-2:00 burst athleticism and speed

  • his straight line speed is unmatched for a power back

  • for those that doubt his speed look at :13-25. He pulls away from #8 at the end

  • He has decent speed, but his real asset is his lower body strength. He needs to mind his conditioning, but I can easily see him taking over games in the second half. He's just too strong.

  • how can u think he is in the top 3 halfbacks in this draft

  • how is he not in the top 3? the only person you can put ahead of him is CJ Spiller and that is because Spiller is an all purpose threat. Toby Gerhart is amazing, has great vision, agility, burst to get through the hole, just won the Doak Walker award (nations BEST runningback) and will run in the 4.45-4.55 range. He has similar skillsets to Beanie Wells or Knowshon Moreno, the two top prospects from last year, so why wouldn't he be in the top 3?

  • mel kiper and todd mcshay dont have him in there top 5

  • so Mel Kiper and Todd McShay are the geniuses now? Where did they have Austin Collie rated last year? not even in the top 10, even though the guy led the nation in receiving. He fell to the 4th round. SURPRISE, he performed like he was a 1st or 2nd round receiver his rookie year.

  • and espn did a poll, america thought he was the 3rd best rb prospect
