Hey, wait a minute. At 3:30, how come Joe doesn't know about the Transporter Page? They USED IT in the 2ND episode, 2105. This is the 4th episode. What the? Did they air out of order?
The cat is a carryover from the book. It's Anna's cat, and at the beginning of the book Joe made a bet with Anna that they would clean her cat's litterbox for a week if there was a female pharaoh. Since they took the bet out, the cat is just kind of... there.
The reason actually doesn't make sense anymore because they gutted the book version of this to make the episode. The book started with Joe and Anna making a bet as to whether there were female Pharaohs, and so they had Thutmose III along with his step-mom Hashepsut as co-rulers to have Anna win the bet. However, they took all that out so there's no real reason to have him be there anymore.
