@MrLanii941 B8 means the platform of the car. The 1994-2001 was built on the B5 platform, and so on, and now they`we reached the B8 ;)

@chadley6916 No, this is a LCD display, not blue display. Red monochrome is stock, you have to pay extra for LCD (about 500€).

It's called needle sweep and can be enabled by anyone who has VAG-COM.
