yea creepy shit, but it's only found side effect is that it just makes the ant or any bug technically commit scuicide, possibly causing the death of others. But to those idiots who think this can cause a zombie apacolypse is way off. This fungus doesnt control the bugs to run up to others trying to kill them but scuicide :/

These mushrooms use the insects to have them to a prefer location that is nice an moist for them to grow at its best. In other words they control the mind of the insect like some parasites do make the insect jump in water so the parasite continues its life cycle they even make it easier for the insect to be eaten by predator so they can infect them.
