Yes, I was 12y/o when I started getting into this. I loved Turbo. I have a recollection of him in a McDonald's commercial back in '85-'86. I've been trying to find it just for the memories. He is shown doing his famous MoonWalk, breafly. Has anybody seen it back than or have found the commercial?

It's true that funkstyles have evolved (just like everything else) Breakin' (the movie) was watered down a great deal. A lot of cats were rippin shit up back then including Shrimp. These videos don't due him any justice. The battles back then were sicc.

Shabadoo was Ozone and Boogaloo Shrimp was Trubo. If you watch the movie again in the second scene when they are dancing at Muscle beach?? on the side walk, Jeane Claude Van Dam is dancing in black tights. Also his pal Mikael Quissi who played Tompo in Kick boxer and the broken leg guy in Blood sport is dancing behind him. Check it out if you havent already noticed.  Its funny shit
