Heres an idea for the skeptics: Try it, then figure out if it works or not. If your gunna hate, then please dont comment. Yes, you have your rights, but to be more mature, try the stuff for cryin out loud!
I have ordered myself of a bottle of the Immortal Velvet Gold and should be receiving it in the mail some in the next day or so. I will test it out on myself and will post my results with it here. There is a long history of deer antler velvet being used in China and in Russia more recently in the bodybuilding and athletic community so I have high hopes for this product.
@devrygal You don't need to give a 3 yr old this. I am pretty sure it would possibly be more harmful then beneficial, because at that age a child is already producing more than enough HGH.
I know crab legs grow back if they're amputated. Any research into the efficacy of a crab leg extract? lol, but seriously, there could be something there.
@HoFoShAo actually, gecko's tails are famous for growing back & they're used as another chinese jing herb. there are crab extracts, but they're used for anti-inflammation, not vitality or growth, as crabs contain some of the essential sugars, including n-acetylglucosamine. i recently found out there are immortal organisms, such as the turritopsis jellyfish, which keeps going back & forth between its polyp & sexually mature phases. why isn't anyone making an extract of THAT?
He was pointing out the rarity of mammalian organ regeneration, not reptilian, but I wonder if that evolutionary trait can be genetically traced back to our reptilian ancestors??? Don't be surprised if Geico starts selling spray to lower the rate of insurance claims and their mascots tail will be depicted at different stages of the regenerative process during each commercial, lol.
I took 1500 mgs DA the first time (3 times spread throughout the day) and it was super potent DA...kept me up till 3 am and not the best feeling to be honest. I recommend starting w/small doses and working up while also balancing the DA yang effect with yin herbs like Ho Shou Wu. Rehmannia 6 formula is also good for balancing out the strong yang of DA. These herbs are potent and should be treated as such. With that said I do like DA a lot - just be careful as everybody is different.
@andriante I have experienced benefits from DA. I like to train in the martial arts and I've found DA helps recovery, helps to build strength, and helps energize the body. The sexual effects were evident fast. :-) With that said, I've found the effects were heightened with the use of yin jing herbs like Goji, He Shou Wu, and Prepared Rehmannia. When adding DA to a strong foundation of yin jing in the body, it really gets fun. I was also able to cut back the DA dosage after the initial spike.
@JackHighlander Hey, I know this is a late response, but I may have something for ya:) I've seen Ragnar & Vitalis at lectures together, so they've crossed paths. My guess is one company is private labeling it from the other. A quick goggle search will tell you what private labeling is. So, it's most likely the same manufacturer, but with a private label on it. Hope that helps!
@naturallogicskincare thanks. actually, since i posted that, i became convinced they're the same product because they both changed to bottling in violet miron glass @ the same time. i just wish someone knew who's supplying them. anyway, ragnar & vitalis are cool, but if i try deer antler, i'll get ron teeguarden's private reserve 1st. a review said his is vastly more potent, & actually syrupy. also see explanation on dragonherbs of why a claim of 43:1 doesn't necessarily translate to better.
@JackHighlander Thanks for the great info - I'm most certainly looking into it. If I found out anything more on the source of the other 2, I'll be in touch. Much Love:)
I just got this stuff last week...got it from Surthrival on the East coast..because Rawfoodworld is on the west coast. You can save on shipping if you get the stuff closer to where your home is.Its already very expensive.
check out the youtube video by Dr. McDougall about Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 before you buy this product. Hopefully daniel, matt or angela will do a video to clear up matter, as i dont know whos right , wrong etc. Daniel if you do read these comments please respond to dr. mcdougall's video so that people are not confused about your product, please!!
Histerics3 & McDougall don't know what they're talking about, nor do I think either one of them is a scientist. I have a background in microbiology/biochemistry, so I do understand this. Any study showing the negative impacts of IGF-1 is done with isolated IGF-1. In other words, the risks related to IGF-1 are largely attributed to the body having a disproportionate amount of available IGF-1 because of it not being derived from the correct ratio of complete growth factors, as is found in nature.
In simple terms, as long as you're taking a matrix of growth factors, in their proper balance with nature, IGF-1 will be kept as an isolate, in it's correct and safe ratio. By taking a matrix of growth factors as they're found in their proper balance with nature, it WON'T be recognized by the body as one isolated drug, therefore it won't be 'toxic.' A good example of this is seen with the perfect ratio of omega 3 to 6 fatty acids. Everything in nature relies on a proper balance.
i have the same concerns as 'histerics3' (post below) that mentions that IGF-1 causes the growth of abnormal tissue ie cancer. I have heard this many times, and read it in the china study too. I have emailed matt and angela to comment on this concern that a few people have mentioned here in the posts but i am still waiting for them to reply. maybe daniel could reply to this concern if he reads this, thanks
histerics3: what promotes cancer is an over acidic body. that leads to a proliferation in candida and parasites. ur cells will morph into cancer cells because of it. soy and dairy create a lot of acid and damage the villi.
I have enjoyed these videos - but how did you get the water out of the spring?!? As for this video, I have read (in The China Study and elsewhere) that IGF-1 promotes cancer and is one of the factors that make soy and dairy so dangerous. Is this source of IGF-1 less dangerous or different than dairy? Does IGF-1 actually promote cancer?
