  • this is on which album?

  • @BahmanG yeah that's my question. never heard this before :)

  • @BahmanG

This is from the Stone& Dethroned era (1994). It was on the 'Come On' CD single. I think JAMC played it live several times round 1994-1995. Shane actually appears on S&D and has, admittedly, shared more than a few drinks with the Reids throughout the years... The Pogues actually covered Darklands live in the late 1980s.

  • automatic sounding or post automatic sounding ,.,.. when they lamed out

  • hear the Pogues do this, which is better?

  • @tigerlily1221 The Pogues version is the original and probably better but this is pretty cool.

  • @tigerlily1221 shane macgowan (singer for the pogues) appeared on stoned & dethroned on the song 'god help me'.

the pogues album, "Hells Ditch" is a fuckin masterpiece. Macgowan was kicked out of the band after its recording. if theres only one pogues album for a chain fan to check out, its Hells Ditch. Check out the song "hell's ditch" here on youtube. Aces.

  • Fabulous. Reids= Rock Gods
