This is from the Stone& Dethroned era (1994). It was on the 'Come On' CD single. I think JAMC played it live several times round 1994-1995. Shane actually appears on S&D and has, admittedly, shared more than a few drinks with the Reids throughout the years... The Pogues actually covered Darklands live in the late 1980s.
@tigerlily1221 shane macgowan (singer for the pogues) appeared on stoned & dethroned on the song 'god help me'.
the pogues album, "Hells Ditch" is a fuckin masterpiece. Macgowan was kicked out of the band after its recording. if theres only one pogues album for a chain fan to check out, its Hells Ditch. Check out the song "hell's ditch" here on youtube. Aces.
