The south will rise again, not by way of civil war, but when people realize that their government is getting to much control over their lives, and when people stand up to all the government, democrat or republican, and tell them "We want to control our own lives" No matter whether the person is in the north or south, black or white. This is when the south will rise again.

What grade are you in? 2nd? If you had a proper History teacher, they would have taught you the real reason why the war was started. Not slavery, but unfair taxes. Lincoln knew that slavery was wrong, but he did not want to go to war with the south! The abolitionists were willing to go to war with the south to see slavery abolished. Lincoln surmised that slavery would be extinguished and wither and die if the profits from slavery were taken away from those profiting from it. So he taxed the south and unfortunately this COMPLETELY backfired! This gave the south all the reason that they needed to secede, which they tried to do.
