30 miles per hour, and this simulates a collision head on into a limo with each vehicle doing 30. I think it did pretty well considering all the weight behind the front compartment.
looked at the weight sticker and it looked like the same from a four door reg 300C so I would have to agree with looncraz that the sticker was never updated to new ratings , of which it should have been , I am amazed how well this car did in the crash tests. the A-piler never even deforms a inch the roof line stayed in line no deforming great car i wouln't mind owning one if I was rich and had to use a limo i would pick the 300C 10plus rating
Yes, a pretty aesthetically pleasing front end crash test. But what happens to all the drunken high school students/club girls/frat kids when it gets hit from the side? I still don't think such vehicles are nessessary or safe.
I own a limo company in florida and i've been through the tour of the Krystal plant in Ca. What they don't show in this video is that there are steel beams, like what's in your car doors, for side impact crashes. They really work. I have a friend that his limo was hit from the side by a drunk driver. None of the 15 passengers were seriously hurt. minor bruises from the impact. That's why limo companies have $1 million insurance policies.
Let's see an offset test.

Did the weight really say what I think it said??
Weighs about as much as my Volvo 850??
Nah, I'm guessing the real weight was never updated properly.
