I cannot understand why there isn't yet a movie of "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress". It´s such a fun, fast-paced book. All the serious stuff, and the historical parallels, working in the background while the adventure story is going on...

Italian industrialist Renato Crotti was very effective in converting communists - he would send them to USSR :-D

So communists feared him - they were afraid he might steal their faith.

The man didn't say he was a communist, he said he was a socialist, they are not the same thing. He definately hit the highlights of the books. I often recommend "The Moon is a harsh mistress" by Robert Heinlein. He should have also included "Time Enough for Love, the Lives of Lazarus Long" by Heinlein. It is a long book but worthwhile. I would also recommend Harry Browne "How I found freedom in an unfree world".

@dishesdealer417 I have the moon/harsh mistress book - haven't read it yet. I liked the harry browne book. "Market for liberty" is a pretty good book too I think Morris & Linda Tannehill
