The only reason the dollar has not crashed yet is because they are munipulating it, just like they do with commodidies. I bought silver as a way to fight inflation, as an investment, and as a possible future widely used currency. I see nothing wrong with that. ever since I have done it I have felt much better than having worthless pieces of paper in the bank.

The chinese do not want the US dollar to fall to where it will be equated with their currency. We may see the undervalued yuan rise to a more reputable price.  They supposedly surpassed Japan and the second largest economy, the pricing of their currency does not reflect this. Therefore it would be wise to move factories out of this region early before the inevitable rise of the yuan comes forth.

I believe the next currency will be one that China, Russia and India will come together to form, backed by gold. Last year at the G20 summit, they already had made an example of what the currency will look like. THe US dollar will NOT remain the world reserve currency for much longer, because our government is too damn stupid to back the currency up with anything but a promise. Other countries are buying commodities to back their currency. BRING BACK THE GOLD STANDARD !!!

I keep hearing the same story .... I've seen programs that say that there are plans for a currency for the USA, Canada, Mexico and I thought perhaps another country but not sure about that.

I'd just love to know what's going to happen to the UK economy considering that (much to my annoyance) it is quite closely linked to the US economy.
