Great short film I liked it.

After seeking for so long myself ,I think what we seek is not out there, its inside. You don't have to get away or go some place to find it. We already have it in us. I can't define it but I know I am more content than I once was. Not to say its all perfect more like a work in progress.

For all of those that say this idea lacks originality.

If an idea is true and of benefit to people then it should be rediscovered continually untill it makes a difference. To judge this piece entirely on whether the subject material is 100% original is a polarised view of the worth of an idea and only makes your own inadequacies transparent.

I think a lot(maybe most) people can relate to this vid. I know I can. Every day, week, month, year is the same. To put it bluntly, I am just going thru the motions until I die. Get up, go to work, come home, repeat. And when I do, it wont matter. Sure, I could change things, but like you said, change to what? And in the end, what would that really accomplish? ucfbran18, I agreed with you at the start, I thought, "Here we go again, another moody, self-centred, monologue-heavy piece of indulgent twaddle". For me though it started transcending this when the other characters were introduced. I can definitely relate to the main guy, but it's a pipe dream that escaping makes it better. You're still you wherever you go in the world. I think you need to find peace where you are and within yourself to be happy.

this film just shows us the effect of modern life and capitalism. Happiness is not to have a good life, a job, a career or ...etc. Happiness is well being, to be able to be patient, to watch sunrise. happiness is hidden in small things.
