You may be interested in potholer54's series on global warming, which takes a scientific approach to global warming, as opposed to a political approach. He also explains very well the arguments for and against the concept.

My opinion: Home-brewed arguments such as Nuker1337's are comparable to Al-Gore's arguments. Neither are scientific, and neither are very educated. I advise you to do a large amount of research into the subject before you try to go against the majority scientific opinion.
