I just wanna throw in my 2 cent. I'm a Colts fan.. Peyton's the best I say.. and here's why. If you put Peyton on the Patriots that Brady had when they were winning SuperBowls then they wouldn't have lost a game. Peyton clearly creates his receivers. No one reads defenses like him. If he had Moss/Welker they'd be unstoppable. A 4 time MVP. Brady always had a better team and a better line than him. Winning SuperBowls includes having a great defense too which the Colts alway really had subpar.

The coaches don't tell Brady exactly what to do. They give him a play with options and Brady reads the defense. Brady also does audibles just like Peyton. And Brady dominates Peyton in playoff success, which is what ultimately maters.

Thats about the way that every QB does it, but the difference is that Manning is the king of reading the D and on-field play calling. Every QB does Audibles, even High School QBs. And incase you missed it, brady doesn't play against Manning, he plays against the colts D which has consistently been bad and been worse than the pats D. This game though was a perfect showing of Manning being better than Brady. Peyton had no weapons, no protection and still almost won if it hadn't been for our D.

It's not the exact same, but it's the same system. It focus on short passes as runs and to set up runs and opens up for the odd big pass play. They both rely heavily on blocking by WRs and TEs to make short passes go long. Both focus on QBs that don't take risky throws and have strong o-lines to give time for open throws. Not sure why more teams don't adopt it. Snd no way do the Pats beat the Colts in 03, or 04 with out that D.
