Tons of phones have accelerometers built into them now. I doubt many of them use the Analog Devices part I used because it is rather pricey.

I only built one. I spent $250 on the electronics, $50 on the circuit boards, and $100 on the enclosures (not seen in video).

@ktmglen woo that's pretty too much...i am combining 3 axis accelerometr plus 3 axis gyroscope, already work, and spent like 70 dlls. 6 degrees of freedom. The sensors are in a wii remote.
