  • Very interesting. I have the exact machine in a cabinet with all of the attachments you show. problem is, I don't know how to sell it. It was an inherited item from my wife's grandmother, but we are no really interested in it. Even not knowing about sewing, I can tell that this machine is beautiful example of craftsmanship that is in a way a lost art.

Any ideas as to where I could sell this? (Other than the obvious Ebay, Kijiji, etc.)

  • You probably shouldn't be 'helping' it along by pulling on the back. This could cause the needle to hit and chip the Throatplate/Stitchplate.

You didn't mention how much you were asking for this machine!

  • Thank you for the advice, I sew with many sewing machines every day, I have 197 videos uploaded at this time.... this Necchi machine was sold 3 hours after I listed it for $300. thank you

  • WOW that is in excellent condition. I have 3 BU's and I have to see if they can use the wonder wheel. I also have 3 Supernovas that do hundreds of stitches. Thanks for showing this, I had no idea there was an attachment like this for the BU's. I learned something good today. 10 layers of cotton huh? That thing will sew as much leather as you can cram under the foot. Great machine!
