Couple reasons why kobe is still the best player

1) team usa had both lebron and kobe, but team usa had to turn to kobe against spain to bail the team out. Lebron was a role player

2) Kobe is by far the better perimeter defender. Lebron plays good D as a help defender but hes not a perimeter defender. He never shuts a player down.

3)Kobe comes up big in big moments/games. Its evident throughout his career. Lebron has been known for choking in big games.

I understand that the Magic are underdogs in this series but you can't deny what they have accomplished so far. Orlando has the overall talent. Howard of course, Rashard Lewis is a shooting assassin, I used to always say Hedo is underrated, he began playing basketball as a PG, he's got great court vision but he used to get 10 mins a game. Often Dwight Howard would be out of the game and the magic would maintain the lead. Lakers have a big minus with Luke Walton, a very overrated and dangerous player who loses games for you. The #1 goal for the lakers is Kobe having enough energy for the 4th, doubtful tho.

exactly!! the only guy cavs had to cover dwight was Big Z, and he is too weak for dwight. bynum is stronger and taller. plus, pau gasol can also defend him for a short amount of time. the cavs team had not done well all playoffs, cavs dominated first 2 series' because of lebron. orlando is not a garbage team like the pistons/hawks, and while they were not able to shut down lebron, or get close, they shut down everyone else. the lakers have a better bench than cavs and overall team. Dwight is part of why I think the Magic will beat the Lakers. One man isn't going to beat anyone. Lebron tried it, it doesn't work. You are right in respecting the other Orlando threats. With Pau down in the post Dwight cant be has aggressive on the offensive end or cant be has defensive cuz of foul trouble.
