  • I will never forgive myself for not going to these games.

  • "I believe."

  • CANADA FOREVER <3

  • 10 people made up of americans and russians watched this

  • still gets me teared up :'D

  • "Sidney Crosby! The Golden Goal!"

    Chills everytime.

  • Miss the Olympics and the atmosphere greatly...

Miss Vancouver a lot as well. The atmosphere and the fact that during the later parts of the Olympics, gender, race and religion were all thrown out the window, and people from all over celebrated as one was so powerful, so moving...

Was a cynic but got drawn into the atmosphere then and there...

    Glad to have been at the right place at the right time... Vid and music had me in tears for sure ;_;

Hope to join the great Canadian family one day =)

  • I miss the olympics SO much. Definetely the best 2 weeks of my life!! What an exciting time and how amazing for the country all to come together as one. The atmosphere during those 2 weeks in the city of Vancouver was unbelievable. (I don't want to "See you in London" ... please come back to Vancouver!!!) :'(

  • Still proud of the Blue Jackets

    Robert Team Leader Net3 CYM

  • Proud to be canadian

  • The best games ever...

  • i died a bit inside when i saw "see you in london" :\

  • @TheChampaignKone i did too :'(

  • these were the best olympics ever, no other olympics will ever be as good

  • @TaylorJPVC Your obviously too young to remember Lillehammer, Norway 1994. You can multiply the attendance and atmosphere from Vancouver a couple of times :)

  • @TaylorJPVC Correction: The next Olympics will be better, because Canada will come out on top, again.

  • proud to be canadian <3

  • cant believe i missed the golden goal.

  • Any time I want to feel patriotic I watch this video. Damn it feels good to be Canadian.

  • 10 dislikes are all americans

  • @tanjames10 Hey! You guys won, and thus were the best. If anything we should be trying to elevate our level of play to yours. See you guys again in 2014!

  • I'm still suffering from olympic hangover

  • EXACTLY what Lavinga1986 said. :',( (and hckyroxs)

  • I miss turning on the TV and seeing any vancouver 2010 olympic game :(

  • We Canadian's have alot of pride in our country and why not. It's just something you feel.

  • I'd too miss the Olympics :'( but on the bright side the countdown to London had already begun! :) yes! And the next winter Olympics is going to be in 2014.

  • @ToastedWafflez21 I have to agree. That was one gutsy performance Joannie put on. She deserved every bit of that bronze medal. Her mother would be very proud of her - The rest of Canada certainly is!

  • almost 2 years later and my eyes still well up and get that lump in my throat...good times!

  • Is that Trevor Boris in the front at 4:11 ? Haha, I think it is! :D

I love the Vancouver 2010 Olympics with all my heart. It's hard to believe it's almost been 2 years already since then. Even though the flag-waving has died down, I have never been more proud of our country. <3

  • I should stop watching videos like these, they keep making me cry. I miss the Olympics so much!

  • Can Somone explain to me why i cry whenever i watch it! Im Proud To Be Canadian

  • @OZinCanada very touching poem.

Those two weeks in February were just MAGIC! I wish every Canadian could have experienced the sheer joy and happiness and pride on the streets of Vancouver. Everyone was just so happy and proud to be Canadian. It's a memory I will always cherish and I hope we can continue this feeling into future Olympic games!

  • Sydney Crosby scores the game winning goal and Canada now is the men's Olympic ice hockey gold medalist .

  • When Crosby scored, Me and my cousin jumped on each other and screamed!

  • @cousins4ever1 c'mon dont cry! dont cry! dammit!

  • I cry like a baby when i watch this when Sidney Crosby scored I was crying in the Boston Pizza and hugging some random dude I LOVE YOU CANADA and thank you to all the soldiers who faught for us in Afghanistan but still found the time to watch the most amazing game in the world ill always love dad :'(

  • I'm so greatful I'm Canadian. I'd die for Canada <3. also every one from other countrys posting nice things about Canada that makes me feal so good, thank you all for the good comments.

  • 768 are canadain the 9 dislike are americans lol

  • dont be sad that it ended, but be happy that it happened.

  • I was looking forward to these olympics ever since I was a kid, and I never wanted it to end when it was here. Yet, I wouldn't of wanted it to end any other way. Crosby scoring in overtime, to not just win us gold in mens hockey, but set an olympic record.

This was the best time of my entire life.

  • Dont cry, dont cry, dont cry....dammit

  • Throughout the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, 'I Believe!'

  • goosebumps every time!

  • I remember this .. :(.. we have to wait far to long to watch Canada take gold again ....

  • This video makes me tear up...I can't explain the feeling I get when watching this video and thinking about the Vancouver Olympics....I guess I miss these Olympcis so much because Canadians came so close together for 17 days....

But I can say one thing for certain - I am so proud to be Canadian, and all our athletes at these games did the country proud. Go Canada Go!

  • I still shed a tear when I watch this T.T god dammit poast olympic depression..*sigh*

  • ahhh, i still miss the olympics so muchh...

  • Something amazed me about the Vancouver games, no matter where you were on this planet they made you feel proud to be Canadian, even though you're not. I'm British and I stayed up to watch ceremonies and some events but I felt honoured they had let the world in. I just hope we can emulate that in London.

  • @AlexHWalker Well, that's great to know, Alex! But I wonder why the British MEDIA were so snotty about the Vancouver games? "a disaster!"..."a calamity!"..."the worst Olympics ever!"...These were some of the unflattering descriptions in the British press.

  • @andrewt1on1 Don't worry about the british newspapers. They're just miserable because they're locked up in a dingy room all day typing on a rusty typewriter, if they're not doing that they are hacking into celebrities phones.

  • @AlexHWalker I love it! Here's a British guy criticizing his own newspapers! lol But having criticized the British press myself, I should mention one Briton who had very kind words of praise for Vancouver 2010...that was Sebastian Coe, head of the London 2012 Organizing Committee. He's a good guy...I like him! :-)

  • @andrewt1on1 It's because we know in Britain we won't be able to match Vancouver. As a nation we aren't proud, the Olympics are about London - not Britain and the UK. Our media think putting on a good show is the most important thing, it's not. You showed us passion and spirit - I doubt we'll do the same

  • so beside the golden goal what was your favorite gold medal moment?

  • Still makes me tear up :')

I can't imagine the US winning the gold in hockey, everything worked out so well!

  • This is just amazing it is so touching

  • THE 2010 OLYMPICS WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN

  • @kim90jg One day in my lifetime, I want to visit Vancouver. That opening sequence from the opening ceremony...man, I want to see what it looks like more than ever now!

  • @OddballExtreme Beautiful City. You will love it!

  • Comment removed

  • Can't believe it's been exactly a year since this was broadcast. What an amazing day that was.

  • 9 americans were here...

  • @MyHawkz shut up ...

  • @ledeux My point proven..

  • @MyHawkz your point suck cause am canadian.... and this is lame '' american are stupid'' ''canadian blablabal'' ''french blablabla''

  • Man, I can't believe it's already been more than a year, and I'm gonna tell you something...I wish I had CTV, but I live in Alabama, darn it. If I can get BBC America, why can't I get something Canadian here, too!? CTV did a far better job than NBC ever could on the Olympics.

  • @OddballExtreme Thanks! Wow, that's high praise, coming from an American...lol

  • Watching everything from Alexander Bildeau earning the first Gold medal on home soil, right to Sidney's "Golden Goal". Along with the rest of my fellow Canadians I was cheering my heart out everystep of the way. Now remembering the olympics a year later still makes me tear up with sadness that is's over and tear up with joy that it has happened. That two weeks of Determination and Triumph in Vancouver will last a lifetime. I am proud to be Canadian.

  • so many chills running down my spine, wow

  • @Jerbsinator Completly agree i watched that special and it brought me back to those two weeks where Canadians finally showed off all their pride.. Made me smile as a member of the CF to see people feel what i do on a daily basis

  • what else could grip and unite a nation for 2 straight weeks? THUMBS UP IF YOU LOVE BEING CANADIAN!!!

  • Watched the CTV Anniversary Special today. I'm not a crying man but it still made me tear up, even a year after it just stirred everything up again.

  • @Jerbsinator me too. i'd give anything to re-live those 2 weeks.

  • my heart still melts after watching this video...i wish i can turn back time!

  • thumbs up if ur still suffering from post olympic depression hahah

  • @BringBackTheWPGJets1 lol i am.......but now it's the stanley cup finals so .......go canucks go (:

  • tears...miss those 2 weeks

  • i still miss the olympics

  • i feel some sadness when thinking back about the olympics. . .only because it was such a high . . . and then it just ended . . .i love the i believe song so much too. the french part ruins it though. . so proud to be canadian but funny thing. . . . dont know any french people . . . other than that . . . . good times

  • @musikman234567 I love the billingual version of I believe and wished they would have used it more often coming from someone who only understands English.

  • Soon we will celebrate the anniversary of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. I hope that each Canadian will hold these triumphant accomplishments high in both praise and national pride for the athletes that represented our country competitively, gracefully, and proudly. GO CANADA GO!

  • i was in tan popo sushi with a couple friends and this was playing on the TV it was awesome then we left and there was still half apitcher of beer left which i slammed walked outside and puked all over the sidewalk projectile

man i loved the olympics rivers of piss flowing through the alleys just everything

  • who got hurt at the olympics for canada

  • @dizman19 If you are talking about the skier that took a tumble into a revine, she wasn't from Canada but, I believe, from a Scandinavian country.

  • @MMara2 ok thanks

  • @MMara2 She was Petra Majdic from Slovenia, not Scandivania!

  • It truly makes me feel so proud to be Canadian. After a year or the Olympic Games over, we as Canadians still look up these videos and watch them over and over again- Hoping that one day we as a Nation will unite again and be as proud as we were in 2010. When we say "I believe", we say it together, as one. I hope everyone as proud as I am. :)

  • @ehjay84 It was fantastic. And yes I am proud.

  • If I could Relive any point in my life it would be those two weeks they were so Amazing! GO CANADA !!!!

  • What I wouldn't do to be able to relive the experience of these Olympics, with the same spirit spreading from coast to coast to coast, the same excitement, and the same feeling of stress become relief at every time interval, score, goal, and gold.

I truly don't believe I'll ever experience anything like this again.

  • ▌♥ ▌ Pure Canadian Pride ▌♥ ▌

  • I miss the Olympics, the swarm of people in white and red crowding the streets of Robson and Burrard. I regret not going to every single event held in Vancouver during those two weeks, and not attending more of the medal ceremonies. It was a chance of a lifetime to experience it here in my home city, and I have never had as much fun than those 17 days.

  • @IronyIrony I agree! Pretty amazing feeling, even watching it on TV!

  • I miss waking up every morning to watch CTV's coverage of the games. It was a Once in a life time experience to actually be able to go to some events. I went to the womens gold medal hockey game, and even just being in the streets screaming Whoa!! and high fiving thousands of people with the olympic mittens was unreal!!! I mean it when I say I miss them and they NEED/ HAVE TO COME BACK TO VANCOUVER!!!

  • really gonna miss 2010 best year ever

    what can canadians do?

    take a look

  • I will become oficially Canadian citizen on january 2011, but since I got to this amazing country I have felt proud to be here. I love Canada, my new nation...!!.

  • I miss waking up every morning to watch the Olympics live! Watching it on DVD doesn't feel the same as it was live!! Every time a Canadian went on, I always went in front of my TV standing up and yelling GO CANADA GO!! I am so glad to be Canadian, and I am glad that I had the greatest moments in my home town!!! The Olympics made us Canadians get together and show Canadian Pride!!

  • well i think i say this for all candians since i am french and english. thank you canada for bring my family togeather (canadians) so we could remember the 21 olyimpic games thank you/merci

  • I loved how Canada really showed it's Canadian pride at the Olympics Canadians have always been taught to have good manners and be respectful Shoving a flag in everyones face and going look at this seemed uncanadian for the last decade or so Canadians have become more vocal we can show our pride and love of our country without stepping on peoples toes The Olympics showed that The world thinks Canadians are quiet reserved and have no personality or identity we proved them all wrong at Vancouver.

  • Dang do I miss the Olympics! Never been prouder to be Canadian :)

  • So proud to be Canadian! Tellement fier d'être Canadien! Love My Canada, j'aime mon Canada! :D <3

  • The thing I loved so much about these Olympics is simple really. Whenever you turned on the TV, you saw broadcasters, athletes and spectators all beaming over the events unfolding before them.

Everyone was so obviously proud to be Canadian and watch our athletes give some of the gutsiest (Rochette), beautiful (Moir and Virtue) and clutch (Sidney) performances we have ever witnessed. I've never been more proud to be Canadian than I am after having watched these games. Pure perfection.

  • Je t'aime mon canada!

  • Sure seems like 9 Americans didn't win Gold and dont have there own song ;)

  • wtaching the olympics made me more patriotic and proud of my country i miss every moment of these olympics, i wish i could relive those 17 days again.

  • No I will not see you in London. I will see you in Vancouver :)

  • Some of the proudest moments ever being Canadian

  • i still have tears watching this video

  • Wonderful song. Congrats, Canada! You put on a fabulous Games.

  • @dw235 if you dont like the song your not canadian

  • It breaks my heart every time I read the "See you in London" Caption at the end.

  • Whenever i hear him say for the last time, goodnight from vancouver, i get goosebumps

  • i am a South African living in Canada, and i am honerd to live in this wonder full nation.

  • The 8 people that dislike this are American

  • Still gets me all welled up!!!!!!

  • Man I feel so honored to witness this in my lifetime.

  • The 8 who disliked this video is missing out on what these 2010 games have done to our city, our country, and to our world.

  • @SansaFreak they're probably the people that were causing riots in the street to make a difference. Awesome...

  • i would love to relive tghese games. I wasnt even there but. hwatching it from home was amazing. I believe! that the games should always be iun canadA!!

  • The most touching vid out there! I cried. Thank you for this gift!

  • I still get teary eyed and goosebumps watching this months later.

Those 2 1/2 weeks were some of the best ever.

  • that day was crazy. everyone was in the streets rioting in a good way.

  • ''YES..VERY CANADIAN!""

  • The whole country jumped up at that moment He scored the goal. Followed by hugs galore. That was the moment my cousint learns the sentence go Canada !!!!

  • I remember going to my aunts with my whol familly. I stayed with my baby cousint and my dad befor the game said it will go to over time and Sydney will score the winning goal. When the last goal was scored..... We all put are hands up and screamed at the top of our lungs...... My cousins copyed us it was so cute. I will never forget how happy we were. We broke the record for most gold medels one in one olympic winter games.

    Go Canada Go!!!!!

  • no olympic is going to be better than this one

  • It's been what..10 months and I still cry and get the chills every time I see this:) so proud to be Canadian :)

  • I think when Crosby scored the game winning goal, all of Canada leaped in the air at the exact same time.

I miss the Olympics so much, I remember watching the closing ceremonies live and everyone was teary, and I get shivers every time I watch this. So much fun downtown Vancouver, and everyone was my friend those 2 weeks. I'm still wearing my Canada clothes I bought during the Olympics.

  • Since the olympics ended i been watching this everyday no joke :D

  • that night, beside my bowl of rice was a bowl of poutine

  • i could write an essay on how awesome this was!

  • @canadaisgolden me too

  • I miss the Olympics just as much as I miss hearing this song every time I turned on CTV and watched the daily Olympic highlights,

    God Bless Canadian Pride <3
