Julio Jones is great at doing things that aren't done during a football game. Like broad jump and dash straight ahead for 40 yards with no one covering him. But when it comes to route running and catching the ball, the things that WRs need to do in games, well then AJ Green > Julio Jones

i have to say that i have really enjoyed watching this young man prosper at alabama. every year, our two schools (lsu, alabama)create some of the greatest matchups. patrick peterson vs. julio jones was the biggest showcase of talent in the ncaa this year.

The best wide receiver to ever play, Jerry Rice, was not known for his athleticism but his great fundamentals. This includes excellent hands and route running. i have to say that i have really enjoyed watching this young man prosper at alabama. every year, our two schools (lsu, alabama)create some of the greatest matchups. patrick peterson vs. julio jones was the biggest showcase of talent in the ncaa this year.

If this dude gets out of the top ten.....somebodys gettin a steal, and If your comparing jones and green....for an NFL go to receiver....it aint even close. Ill take jones size, strength, and athletic ability over green. Aj green will be a really good NFL receiver cause of the route running, but I think JJ is the next TO....only with a better head on his shoulders.

@MrBlueCrimson 40 yard dash doesn't measure pure speed. It does show how quickly you can accelerate to your top speed. I'm not saying Julio Jones is slow. He just doesn't have the pure speed like AJ Green. If you compare AJ Green and Julio Jones game tapes, it's obvious that AJ Green has more pure speed in the game.

@MrBlueCrimson U must not have looked at the combine results if u think julio is stronger.AJ did 18 reps of 225lbs in the bench press and julio did 17.I know that is only one rep difference but just because a.j. is skinny does not mean he is not strong.AJ catches anything that touches his hands, and, julio struggles with screen passes and simple out routes.Ur saying u would rather have a receiver with a little bit better athletic ability than a guy with proven hands and route running
