  • Imagine a line, we are moving forward on that line so does all the Universe, that is our reference of time. It goes left (past) and right (future). Now think of going up or down that line instead of left or right. Now that is the biggest mystery. What lies beyond? Parallel Universes?

  • @ziribai I dont believe there are any other life forms out there...

  • @maverickguy12 In this universe there must be a lot more lifeforms as we know it and maybe even some we can't even imagine to be possible. More even in other universes, things we don't even dream of. Even the very definition of life will be rewritten. There are things which we can't understand.

  • @ziribai I believe humans are unique. I dont buy into the Star Wars theory...

  • @maverickguy12 Me 2, it seems so. But we're not special. Just another lifeform.

  • Excuse me but if you knew anything about math, you would know that when the speed of light is exceeded then the value of time, and everything else becomes imaginary.

  • @DaPhyProductions They also used to think the world was flat...

  • @DaPhyProductions Can you prove it?

  • CERN vs. VEDODER.EU

CERN gets billions of tax money; VEDODER gets zero.

CERN has a LHC; VEDODER only a laptop & some felt tips.

CERN knows very little of our universe, although it's specialized in quantum-physics; VEDODER knows everything about this universe; quantum-physics being the most boring part.

CERN has thousands of employees; VEDODER is a one man enterprise.

CERN gets al the attention; VEDODER is unknown.

I can kick EInstein's, Newton's and CERN's ass all day long. Just bring it on =D

  • @Nomasain breaking news, MESSIAH

  • "speed of sound" red handed

  • @TheMendelkestecher You got me...

  • 1:46 "speed of sound" epic fail

  • @bygota @fulou I know, I caught that later...Im an idiot.

  • @maverickguy12 Anything but an idiot. That's for sure!!!

  • @maverickguy12 BUT STILL == GETING IN MY HEAD

  • 1:47 "Even if they're calculations are off, they're still traveling faster than the speed of -SOUND-" , o rly? I can do that too :P

  • the time travel all for you are thinking about like going back in time to WW2 or 9/11 to stop it is not possible but to send an object or data over a long distance at such a speed it will arrive almost instantly.. say you have to get a message 4000 light years away if it travels faster than light then the receiver don't have to wait 4000 years for it but under 4000 years which will be faster than light there for its going into the future to deliver it in the past i know it may be confusing think

  • @dunhillsupramk3 Mate i get serious dreams which show me the future and future happens then..Does this mean..somethings are allready preset...I am trying to investigate..this phenomena

  • @jim55001 dont think time travel is possible..But ..time is already set..i feel..

  • @jim55001 hmm... interesting... are these dreams precise or do you get a general outline also how often are these dreams...... also do you get a constant feeling of déjà vu?

  • @dunhillsupramk3 It is very precise..It actually is a message..i feel to show me there are various things present which scientist dont know..I had once had a dream where there was a robot who wakes me and tells see some one is going to fall 1 ...2 ...3 and hell in reality in the next seater some one falls!!...SO meaning is there are some sortof things which run in nature we dont know what it is..THINGS ARE Guranteed set ..some of the things atleast...

  • @jim55001 Severe manic interest will giveyou everythign..thats what i feell..

  • @dunhillsupramk3 I nver had deja vu experience But i have dreams which are 101% real..

have lost this abilvity from past few months but it shall comeback again..when i think mind is calm or satisified andhappy ...it just comes..brain is one thing..brain can connect to unconscious...and unconscious lies everything...it contains past/present and future..and from that our brain is able to get things ... i wil sureley find out things in depth and get results..lets see whats in store..

  • @jim55001 One more reason my mind can talk to higher power ..That unconscious is the higher power..I have trained my mind like that..(Wait it is not me..It is the higher powe rwhich decides)...from child hood..Like i will talk to it and it answers in child hood this gift was great..I have great respect to higher power..I actually can feel it.

  • @jim55001 and dun if you want to have this..try thinking about higher power..how higher power has made things.. I mean the main..the start..how things gets set in place..and try contacting it ..it will answer you..

  • i think this channel is really confused as to the effects of approching the sleep of light. How one would build a time machine if it was true would be to build a reciever first. As soon as its completed it should begin to recieve a signal. If its possible that is heh.

  • im no scientist but.. i try to think of going 'back' in time = to... 'light' is the 'flow' of the 'river' of the universe and while you may be able to build a 'boat/spaceship' that can go 'downstream' pretty fast, it will take alot more power to 'turn around' and go against the 'flow' of the universe..?

  • now,, how is,,"you just cant" an explanation,, am i a child that your telling off why mommy,, you just cant thats why,, fuck off,, we cant even time travel yet so dont start making statements on how it works,, ,,if i ever can ima travel back in time and slap your mum when she cancelled your abortion idiot!

  • Human stupidity knows no bounds). How to go back in time? genius is one step away from insanity anyway ))))

  • Time is linear, only moving forward, we only perceive changes in time differently when we use a given vantage point. The time old clock on the ground and one on a train, shows us that from the vantage point of either clock makes the opposite vantage point move slower. This isn't time dilation, but rather the observational distance for light to travel. Light isn't a speed barrier, but rather a measurement tool for energy in Einsteins equation.

  • Nothing is imposible in an infinite universe.

  • data on them put grammar not important facts are.

  • 1:46 traveling faster than the speed of sound am i the only one heragin that guys!?

  • I thought as you went faster time speeds UP.

  • @LouistheHedgehog no as you move faster your time stays the same but to an outside observer it appears that your time slows down.

  • the flux capacitor is the key!

  • of course you can faster than the speed of light, still you wouldnt go back in time, since time is "relative" and attached to the "outside viewer",heck not that long ago people "thought" we can not fly or you cant go faster than the speed of sound, today we do both on a regular basis

  • @Hoschi0913 how is it obvious you can go faster than the speed of light? as you go faster the amount of energy you need to go just little faster is rediculous, to go the speed of light or even faster than the speed of light the amount of energy recquired for large heavy objects like a space craft of some sort would be so huge that it would be impossible.

  • @seanymo

you forget that you be onboard the ship,in which case time for you goes by as normal as it does now,it has no influence on you, therefore the same effect applies to the energy source you are using or in other words ,since the ship (suppose) to get heavier (from outside view) so will the energy source get bigger / heavier and therefore supply more energy as in "regular" state, means counter the "effect"

  • @Hoschi0913 i get ya lol never thought about it that way, but at what point do this effect begin to become significant? i mean is this effect directly proportional to the velocity? if not then surely you would still need a redicolous amount of energy?

  • @seanymo

should be / must be proportional otherwise you would sooner or later hit the paradox effect, either way ,since you are onboard the ship, you wouldnt notice a thing anyways, since everything is "normal" for you, well except the stars and planets pass by some faster ;)

  • @Hoschi0913 just another point, if according to E=mc2 then mass increases with velocity. surely if the mass of the fuel increaes with speed then so does the mass of the "ship" and the rate of these increases would be the same as they are both travelling at the same increasing speed. thus the energy produced by the increased mass of fuel would be cancelled out by the increased mass of the ship?

  • @seanymo

thats the thing ,it wouldnt cancel out, simply because due to the mass "increase" of the fuel and the therefore resulting increase in energy output of said fuel, the ratio between velocity (fuel) and ship (mass) stays the same

  • @Hoschi0913 how would you have acceleration, if the ratio of mass and fuel are equal?

  • @seanymo

the fuel is there to give the acceleration ,so it has a certain ratio in acceleration toward the mass of the ship, which will not change, thats what i meant

  • Like For the JUMBO Flux Capacitor !!

  • All you need is Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox in a Delorean with a box of plutonium

  • If you jump into the future and come back, the time differntial stays with you. So then when your body is say 40, you got the condition of somebody who is already 50. Not such a good deal just to glimpse things you won't understand much anyway. Been there, done that.

  • The faster you travel, the larger the splat you create when you hit a wall.

  • @maverickguy12 how about 'the grandfather paradox'?

(i'm a nood at this btw)

  • Well, of course time traveling is going to be possible.

All that is needed is time (haha), money (lot's of it) and some technological (how to produce massive amounts of energy and how to use those energies to bend space or fuel FTL spacecrafts) breakthru.

    Heres more detailed view: w w w .b i n a r y t o u c h . c o m / SimpleTheoryOfTimeTravel.pdf

  • Well if that's the case, then light speed doesn't make things go back in time. Otherwise they wouldn't have been able to measure the particles going faster the speed of light. They would have just been there before running the experiment.

  • Neutrinos always trying to show off...show boaters...

  • yes, neutrinos certainly travel "faster than the speed of sound." Of course you misspoke, but I mean, really, dude.

  • so E>=mc2 :P noob albert

  • well, time travel may be possible but we cant travel to the past because eh well you just cant it would make nothing so jijweetthetookniet srry bubba you cant travel backwards only forward

  • @CWB479foralluhaters Not yet anyway:)

  • @maverickguy12 haha " jijweetthetookniet " no idea where that came from! but if we could you really think if we went in the past then we wouldnt already know because some one came from the future, you know what i mean? so yeah hah

  • @CWB479foralluhaters What if we go forward, get REALLY good time travel technology, then come back, and already be ahead of the point we would be at? I'm sure the Doctor wouldn't like that, though. XD

  • @CWB479foralluhaters You don't know what you're talking about.

  • no but seriously I do believe that time travel is possible but we are not even close to it yet, maybe in a couple million years xD

  • @jijweethetookniet I think we are much closer than that..

  • @maverickguy12 honestly never going to happen. And even if it was 50 nanoseconds that is so small it wouldnt have any effect unless it was over a long period of time

  • @jijweethetookniet Of course time travel is possible. Look around. Don't you see all the people who have come here from the future?

  • @swilson3d

okay so your logic is: It hasn't happen yet so it can;t happen

    ughh what a idiot

  • @jijweethetookniet I hope you're joking.

  • @swilson3d

I dont even care if you think i;m joking

And by the way I'M NOT, you dumb fucking retard

    Go pray some more..

  • @jijweethetookniet If we invent time travel in the future, time travelers from the future would be visiting us now. Where are they? Why have they not brought us the secrets of time travel and the cure for cancer? This is elementary reasoning.

I'm not sure what prayer has to do with this, or why you mentioned it, but if I were inclined to pray, I would pray for the foolish.

  • @swilson3d I think its pretty elementary that if they come, they hide. Non interference. If I go back to ancient Rome to study them, of course I dont interfere. Otherwise I would just ruin my own future. Paradoxes u love them, u hate them...but if u go time travel, u have to deal with them.

  • @Kenshiroit Paradoxes cannot exist. Paradoxes are generally taken as evidence that something is not possible. I think you have confused science fiction with reality. Either paradoxes are somehow a non-issue or else if they would be inevitable they would be proof time travel was not possible.

In any case, hypothetically, there would be no possibility that people would come from a practically infinite future to this pivotal moment in history and never be discovered.

  • HELLO IM FROM THE FUTURE

  • All you need is a Delorean and 1.21 Jigowatts.

  • @madhat1979 Exactly, thats what Im Saying...

  • If this is true and it's possible to encode messages in neutrino beams someone should be looking for messages from the future. You'd have to assume that if you go far enough into the future there will be a cure for every disease, and if they have the ability you'd think they'd share this information with us.

  • Omg how stupid are you people!? The neutrino travelling faster than light has got NOTHING to do with CERN! -.-

Think a little before you post misleading videos like this... -.-

  • @Somethingcrappy well actually it has, the experiment for detection of the speed of neutrino's (the OPERA experiment) is a collaboration between CERN and the Gran Sasso laboratory in Italy.

But it hasn't anything to do (directly anyway) with the Large Hadron Colider you see on the photo.

  • @madhat1979 yes thats what I meant :P. And I didn't know it was a collaboration between CERN and the Italian laboratory.

  • @Somethingcrappy But the things CERN is learning from this experiment they going to use in the LHC.

The test from OPERA was just in a straight line, but the LHC is round so the experiment could last much longer than the few nano-seconds the OPERA experimet lasted.

Who know's what will happenend if these neutrino's will travel faster than light for over a second.

  • @madhat1979 well the experiment has not been able to be redone so its probably obsolete but then again no-one knows what will happen.

  • @Somethingcrappy what are you talking about? the experiment has been done several times by the Gran Sasso laboratory, but also by their American and Japanese colleagues (Japan has a special neutrino detector, the T2K).

And it has the same outcome every time.

If this was just a one time event we would probably never ever heard of it, but it isn't.

  • @madhat1979 Oh it has? :O I thought that it hadn't been able to be replicated(the neutrinos wouldn't travel faster than light). Could you send me a PM with a link to somewhere I can check that please?

  • @Somethingcrappy till now I've only read a few articles about it but they where all in Dutch, so I don't think you would understand that.

But it would be quit logic that CERN never would release this kind of news if they only managed to do it one time.

I mean: something traveling faster than light is rather shocking to science.

  • @madhat1979 well of course they would release it even if it happened one time just because it is so shocking. They want attention and funding. (Mostly attention however, because it would be a huge honor to discover something like that)

  • @Somethingcrappy an organization like CERN can't afford to say something that isn't totally true.

They don't have to worry about fundings because the 20 member states pay 1 billion dollars a year and thats exclusive the funding from large companies.

Sure they have to show some results, but before the neutrino anomaly nobody ever heard of the OPERA experiment, so they don't do it for the attention either.

CERN also invented the World Wide Web but you don't hear them bragg about that.

  • @madhat1979 Well looks like I'm totally lost with this. Well thanks for all the info on this subject! :D

  • UFO are time travelers !!

  • @danielbooom I dont believe in UFO's.

  • @maverickguy12 You mean you dont believe in Aliens. UFO's are just objects in flight that are unidentified.

  • @moonsugar1 Right, I dont believe in aliens, but unidentified by who? The guy drinking beer on his back porch?

  • @maverickguy12 Lol. I guess anything that shows up on a radar screen that shouldnt be there! Cool vid btw.

  • @moonsugar1 Thanks for your comments, seriously.

  • @maverickguy12 Are you a scientist?

  • You said "faster than the speed of sound", instead of "faster than the speed of light" at 1:46 (well you can say I wasn't paying attention)

  • taht could explain how aliens travel

  • @egmaverikc84 What aliens?

  • if time travel fail, the object probably travel faster than light to very far far away from earth then unable to return to earth, this is sad...

  • @jaze592 I agree, it would be sad if someone left earth and couldnt get back...

  • Comment removed

  • I think the only reason we are not getting any were with faster than light travel is that no one puts in enough money or time to progress with it

  • @bonecrusher54367 Actually, the reason for that is because it has been scientifically proven to be impossible to travel that fast. These new results DOES question that proof, but either way, it has only been measured on subatomic particles and well, us humans are not subatomic particles.

  • 1:47 :/ ... human reached this speed in 1947 :D

  • just think you might end up chasing men of crime through a time machine .

  • @john5o That would be cool...

  • @john5o Maybe neutrinos are Time Cops!

  • ok but the real test is can we send a human this fast safely they need to send a Manichean in faster than the speed of light and if it goes back safely then there you have it we can go back in time as we please

  • @MurphMagnetic Yah, probably be a few years before we can do that...

  • This is no real surprise - Newtonian physics works just fine in most "real life" situations but in special conditions we need Einstein et Al. So too we will find that Einstein will work in most situations - - - - and on science goes

  • well think about it.. if it really can go back in time it should arrive earlier at the detector so basically either the time traveled is very insignificant or the measurement is incorrect

  • @DemangoProductions Even if it is just a tiny bit of time travel, that would still be very significant...

  • Even IF we are goin back in time, there already ar people from the future on the planet. So its not possible.

  • I just look around, and i know we are going back in time^^

  • Decay or disassembly fools us into believing we have gone back in time. While invention and innovation causes us to announce we have moved forward...not the clock. It's in our mind. Matter will never go forward or backward, only change its state or structure. There is no time, there is only change or lack thereof. Novel combinations signify the "future", it's in our heads.

  • @romale2307 I disagree with the assertion that there is no time.

  • There is no such thing as time, first of all. Changing states are real from a cyclic perspective. One cycle's frequency may change characteristics in relation to another cycle. But the clock is a farce, a practicle illusion. Time travel does sound cool though. Go neutrinos!

  • It only aplies if einstein was true about that you cant go faster than speed of light, now if CERN will prove that you can go faster than light, no more time traveling

and something to think of, if you traveling faster than light your traveling faster than time

  • Wait did you say speed of sound that was the most mindfucking thing in this video lol

  • time is only equal to the measurement used to calculate its speed, and that is to say time does not exist because it has no independent variable it is only is dependent on other like or similar equations like the sun is the only tool used by humans as a measurement of a condition and not a factor of a condition to produce measurement.

  • @ryanplacide Aren't things like half-lifes used to measure time independent of the Sun??

  • NEED MY SANDWICH BEFORE I GO IN A TIME MACHINE

  • Speed of sound?? Lol

  • @Mindslave1985

    My thoughts exactly

  • also, time travel (well, towards the past atleast) is a complete waste of time to even think. It's very simple, even you can solve this riddle wether time travel to the past is possible. If you'd take a molecule, and you'd like to "rewind" it back to 20 min earlier, you'd take the electrons and move them in the backwards way. Yet by moving them in the first place, you create time.

Time travel to the future is like everything around you goes in fastforward but you don't... cryogenics maybe...

  • bla bla balabla bla blbabalba bla bla....bla

  • @ricomajestic the point isn't that without celestial bodies time wouldn't exist it's that time doesn't exist and is only a human measuring tool for matter movement that works along side speed

  • @AppleOnIce What about the "I think therefore I am" philosophy? Saying time doesnt exist is like saying I dont exist, Im just a figment of everyone's imagination. If time doesnt exist, why would any laws of physics, or math, or numbers for that number?

  • @AppleOnIce You've gotten lost in the confusion. Time is not a measuring tool. Time is an event and the man made measurement calculates the event. You are right about the fact that without the movement of particles or celestial bodies there would be no time, but the existence of these bodies is not a man made phenomenon. It's the man made devices that measure the phenomenon. I hope that helps.

  • very concerning

  • Of course! How do you think Hyperdrive works....

  • If a controlled environment is created, that is not found in nature and allows particles to move faster than light than Einstein is still correct under 'normal conditions'.

  • @dandyname Good point, but what is "normal". Do you think the experiment changed any variables that Einstein didnt take into account?

  • @maverickguy12 What Einstein did not take into account I can not be sure of. If I had to take an educated guess I would same Einstein may have looked over certain elements states near or at near Absolute Zero. The laws of Physics near a heat source such as a star may be in the minority in the Universe being that there is so much space between stars.

  • Time doesn't exist it's a human construct used to measure matters movement, think about it if we were a sub-terranian society then we wouldn't even know what time is with no sun no stars and no moon we wouldnt even have this silly concept

  • @AppleOnIce The problem with your thesis is that we arent sub-terrainian and we do have a sun, moon and stars...

  • @AppleOnIce That's a dumb argument. You can you use any object that has a repetive regular motion to measure time not just celestial bodies.

  • Time = Speed / Distance

  • @AppleOnIce Time is the result of everything, if we'd remove the parameter we call time, we'd have a pile of elektrons, neutrons, etc, ie nothing would be exist. Without time, nothing would move, everything would be instant in the instant itself, beginning = the end, words cannot desribe really

But yes, the word time itself is a human construct, but what it represents is essential.

  • 1:45 he says "Speed of sound" instead of light

  • If people could possibly move back in time in the future why havent future people come back to our time and give us a heads up "Hey.......it works" ??? answer: The world ends in 2012 noone sees anything :problem?:

  • @dylanfer6 Why does the world end in 2012?

  • because the mayan people run out of calendar sheets in that year

  • @dylanfer6 i was thinking at the exactly same thing... maybe they dont want to interfere in the time events... or maybe they did znd killed everyone who knew it could work... Maybe Jewish and intellectual people in the 2nd world war knew that and thats why they've been killed.......................

  • @dylanfer6 i will slap your momma

  • @dylanfer6 reasons why that is false 1.If a device is made to go back in time, you could only back in time to the point the device was made. 2. every time you travel in time a paradox is made, who says they didnt come back in time but that alternate paradox was made and we werent in it. 3.who said they had to come back in time to 2011, maybe they did come back in time to 2014 to say it works. ive got more reasons if you want them.

  • @CubbieWorld101 it would make more sense for them to come back here. this is how it basically began. idk what a paradox is. but theyres many reasons why they would come back to this time.

  • anyone remember how 2012 had nutrinos in it? lol them bitches said itd destroy the earth, if so and scientist's play with it were screwed.

  • @MrPhenioxx

How can i remember what happened in 2012, its 2011 for christ sake

  • this guy is merely regurgitating things that already have been said. he can barely pronounce "relativity". Is there a youtube video that has an actual cern scientist commenting on their neutrino measurement experiment?

  • theres a glitch in the matrix!!!

  • Theres only one major problem, time is an illusion

  • i bet Mich kaku very nervous about this discovery. lol

  • if it got there faster then they thought, doesn't it mean that the speed of light either means nothing or the particles moved forward in time.

also how do they even pick up neutrino signals if they are so small and move thru anything?

  • @Jeeve79 Help me understand; the speed of light is slow compared to or measured by what?

  • @maverickguy12

He means that the universe is expanding faster than the speed of light. This is known by studying galaxies in deep space.

  • @Savagekiller0 So Im guessin its theory as opposed to having been scientifically proven yet...

  • @maverickguy12

Well, there is only theory in Science. Nothing can ever be proven to be true under all possible variables, it can only be proven to not be false under a specific set of variables.

There is however, very strong evidence suggesting it.

  • FUCKIN HACKERS!!!

  • Einstein was right.

No difference in speed of neutrinos and light when "standard candle" supernovae go off.

besides, i don't think the data is confirmed

they'll do it over and over again

maybe they discovered time/space shift or gravity waves.

    remember guys, everything is relative.

on the other hand i must say, considering the vastness of the known universe, and the fact that its growing at increasingly faster rates,

speed of light is slow as hell, i mean slooooooow

    this makes u think?

  • Comment removed

  • They go faster than the speed of sound, he said. Whaddayuoknow.
