  • @MzLNC Thanks for the great comment. It's an incredibly difficult art form, but we love it and always go out of our way to watch any lion dance performance that is happening, which can be found by following that unmistakable sound. It's music to our ears.

  • @MzLNC hey do you have video of you showing how to lion dance?

  • @Swapert81 no i do not.

  • @Wytchwing Thanks so much. Glad you enjoy the video. We really enjoyed learning the Lion Dance, and I hope you get to learn it too with your partner.

  • Maraming salamat bakit5. All the best to you in the Philippines.

  • Who was the head you or your wife? And Wen Yang is the best! Carey Chin at 0:22. I LOVE Wen Yang!

  • was the head heavy?

  • Hi revolversmoke... The head is made of paper, bamboo and paint. It's not super heavy, but your shoulders start to burn halfway through the routine. Most women can not manage the weight of the head, but my determined wife did dumbbell shoulder presses for 3 months beforehand, and build up the endurance. Lion Dance is only for the committed practitioner. When they do the high poles, they have absolutely no fear. I'll post another video response of a high pole routine. Thanks for the comments!

  • Are you still gonna continue to do lion dance because you guys were great!

  • nice I wish I could do that!

  • On behalf of my wife and I, thank you all for your comments and compliments. If given a chance we'd do the lion dance all over again. We make it a point to catch all lion dance performances now. I'll post some that I made videos of, for you all to enjoy. Thanks again!

  • My name is Peter Chan I am a master of Ben's shaolin lion dance team great preformance I enjoy it great job

  • @MrChanseehow Thanks Peter. My wife and I absolutely love Lion Dance, we go to performances all the time. I'll post a video response of the Northern Lion Dance, by the same troupe Wen Yang. Our wish is to learn Northern Lion Dance for our 1 year anniversary. We truly believe any couple that can do Lion Dance together has a solid foundation as a couple.
