Yes they can "play" with the whole website. However, we have found this to be a great teaching opportunity about responsibility. In addition, Google Sites records every edit made to the website so once students are taught that there is no way to edit without it being recorded, student behavior was never a problem. Unfortunately, there is no way in Google sites to grant editing access to specific parts of the site. Thanks!
