i have the same car ,ran great last summer but since the temperature started to drop when i start the car cold it sounds like its running on 2 cilinders and when it warms up the rpm shoots up to over 3000 and 1 hour later it starts normally cant figure it out
Not enough power to your battery maybe, so check your alternator, starter or time belt could be the issue. Your car would not start if it was you time belt, but replacing it as recommended is necessary or could damage your engine. You car sounds like it did not ignite fast enough, in addition could hear the sounds you made putting your foot on the gas. Could also mean a tune-up is needed, such as sparks plugs could really make a difference. My advice is for you to purchase a fuel injected Honda
Its quite a bit easier to start them if you pump the pedal 3 times half to the ground, I think pumping it over and over to the ground like that is bad on the engine some how. I read never to do that. Also never pump when starter is engaged. Rather hold halfway while starting.
When I was in HS I had a Honda, I sold it at 300,000 miles and the lady who bought it for me used it 2 more years before she put a new engine in it, it is still on the road to this day
didnt have a camera this summer since i droped it in the lake lol but i got a new one for christmas to damn cold to make a vid now plus its burried under 4 feet of snow lol
Yes they did. It always has run fine. They just had to replace the power steering pump, brakes, and valve cover gasket. They're taking great care of it.
