They invested time and money and really improved peoples health.housing etc.Some still worship dalai.lama, Who flits around world in his Gucci shoes

He forgot to mention that leading a meaningful life and trying to be a better person for the sake of some heaven or a better rebirth is actually very stupid. Most branches of buddhism are teaching to try and escape the loop of reincarnations.

The non-believer, which struggles to live a meaningful life with respect for others without even needing a notion of aftlife or holy award for being "good", already escaped the circle and therefor does not require any enlightenment or otherwordly "truth".

@massive4r7 I agree with you. I feel that sometimes people need reinforcement as to the purpose of our lives, though. I feel that is to improve reality by your presence in it. There are probably endless ways to approach this truth. The core of what he talks about rings true to me, but like I said, that is only my perspective on reality.
