  • Me encanta , Magnolia , pero mas aun esta escena .Les pido con subtitulos en español latino , Gracias , aunque me la se de memoria.

  • I love you Julianne! Quite possibly the most beautiful and sexiest woman alive, bar none!

  • Chúpenme la Polla!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • give this woman a fucking oscar already

  • she makes me cry

  • It's quite literally the best scene in a magnificent movie.

  • now it makes sense i thought she was taking drugs as well none of anybodys business anyway. :D

  • That was some shitty acting - must be all the prozac...

  • I would've punched that kid in the face

  • Ho...ly... shit.

  • ACTING!!!

  • Damn, not one fucking nomination for Julianne Moore from the Golden Globes or the Oscars?

SHAME ON YOU! SHAME ON BOTH OF YOU!

  • she's phenomenal in this scene

  • "Suck my dick"? That's funny, I always thought her art was strongly "vaginal".

  • YOWZA

  • Can somone tell cos i don't understand. she wants all that so she can can kill herslf right. the guy is acting funny cos he suspects so right. So why is she gtting so angry at him. pls clear my doubt. sorry i'm not very clever hehe.

  • @BeauHappiHealz : she's not asking all that to kill herself, but to help her dying husband to relieve his pains.

  • @marco70go oh okie. Tanks :)

  • as a woman i love that she told him to "suck my d!k" AWESOME! just shows how THOROUGHLY pi$ed the hell off she was!

  • mother fucker.

  • That tech was behaving like a douche. He had it coming.

  • "Don't you call me lady!"

  • brilliant acting, brilliant directing, brilliant everything. one of the most compelling scenes i have ever seen in cinema.

  • This is one of those moments in film that makes you love movies and actors... She's so amazing!

  • i do that speech whenever i buy my cigerettes and get back talk from the cashier.

  • White bitch went ghetto.

  • I loved this movie!!! I gotta say, probably the most entertaining 3 hour epic ever! It did get a little slow after 2 hours at some points, but the frog thing was incredible. Great movie, Julianne moore is a BRILLIANT actress!!!!

  • shame on 11 people

  • When she says "have you seen death in your bed?"

    Man...

  • yeah, I downloaded a score few days ago. now i can go to a pharmacy store with this music playing :D

  • does anybody know what is the music playing in background?

  • @jigsown That's track #2 "Showtime", from the Magnolia Score CD.

  • Hahah suck my dick!

    She rocks

  • It's too bad this movie was over looked. It never got the recognition it deserved. The movie was incredible and the cast were incredible. Ranks in my top 3.

  • she's a good actress, but with all that botox and forehead lift, you can't see her expressions. they just don't match with her anger. Shame.

  • amazing performance

  • julianne moore just went straight gangster. id swear this bitch had black in her

  • 11 peopel are retards

  • there's like, no way that one person can be on those medications even if they were dying

  • I love her.

  • i felt so sorry for her character at this point.

  • good comedy

  • Agreed. Oscar worthy.

  • man her boobs are huge

  • minus a *few* f-bombs, she wasn't exactly out of line...

  • She is brilliant!!

  • I just left Rite Aid.......and believe it or not....the same thing just happened...where can i get my opiates refilled?

  • Moore's acting is so natural it's scary. I'll take her over Streep anyday of the week.

  • IMO, "Magnolia" is one of the best movies ever made. I've watched it at least 25 times, and at a three hour running length that's 75 hours dedicated to one film ! I don't regret a minute of it....

  • I would have yelled louder. I love the movie & the scene & the actress, but I just wish she had yelled LOUDER. I've been enraged before, & it's real, it works, when you just AHHHH!

The character (the actress too) could not bring herself to the "gestalt" of the moment (except momentarily in the word "WRONG"), which would have existed only if she had connected with the anger. It's a process.

And me? I have the balls, the indecency to make comments, to question? I have sickness all around me.

  • i´m sorry but "chemists" or pharmacists are not just drug dealers like some of you have said. some of them tend to be very judgemental, especially with the enormous amount of medication julianne moore´s character was talking in magnolia.

i do not think this scene is un realistic. quite the contrary.

in any event...her acting is wonderful. the scene still haunts me after many years of watching it for the first time.

  • fantastic acting but strange movie plus this is so unrealistic.

A real library would not allow such disruptions

  • @WatchMyAwesomeVideos Does this look like this scene takes place in a library? It's a drug store smart one.

  • I hadn't seen this film in awhile & recall there being a scene in a library where she yells at someone.

    Shit happens

  • one of my favorite things about this movie is that at first all the characters seem like crazy bitches or douche bags, but by the end of the movie almost all of them are actually just victims who don't know how to cope

  • @Groundbase . . Holy Moly! . .You just turned on the lightbulb for me with this film . . I knew all of the characters were "no perfect" but the way you said "...just victims who don't know how to cope" . .THAT MAKES SENSE !!!! *MindBlown*

  • \m/

  • SHAME ON YOU! SHAME ON BOTH OF YOU!

Hilariously awful acting from the usually reliable Moore. What is wrong with all of you people?

  • I love how you can see the anger boiling up inside her, but she never overdoes it. Great actress.

  • Epic scene for me. I totally identify. And I love the way she turns on the second guy after bawling the first guy out., Fuck you, too, don't you call me LADY. Shame on you, too. Shame on both of you.

    Thank you, Julianne.

  • Some of the best acting I've seen. Everyone was good in this movie, oh man, Tom...

  • no other actress can do this (except Cate Blanchett)

  • well. i tell you... it's even better than bett davis. it's a scene an actresse would die for. maybe, it's not better then sophie's choise, but it's the greatest. every time i cry. cause i have a simular situation. it's all true. thats the value.

  • I love P.T. Anderson's sense of dark humor.

  • :))))))

  • AWESOME!! I went all postal on a guy when I was buying beer and my Daddy's medication when he was dying. Why do these pricks have to make comments? I LOVE this movie. And thank you for sharing. I'm gonna watch this again.

  • paymp

  • A great customer service manual!!!

  • "Magnolia" was the last P. T. Anderson movie I liked. "Punch Drunk Love" was all but unwatchable except for the exchange between Adam Sandler and Philip Seymour Hoffman, and "There Will Be Blood" was downright awful. He's not a period director; he should just stick to making smaller movies like this and "Boogie Nights." The same goes for his flame war rival, Kevin Smith. As much as I like him, only "Clerks II" came close to his former brilliance.

  • @cubdukat

since you think There Will be Blood is awful, your a FUCKTARD.

    nuff said

  • @cubdukat what the fuck? your put clerks 2 over boogie nights, and there will be blood? im sorry i just cant believe that. i feel sick to my stomach all of the sudden

  • shes lost it!

  • That will be my fuc***g favorite movie forever and this scene one of the best!

Seen it over 20 times PT Anderssonis a boss!

  • @djimifloyd Same here! My favourite film for 9 years now, have seen it over 25 times!

  • @djimifloyd fun to watch but no proper story or plot mate... i like fight club better..

  • luv this scene!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • LMFAO...i'd freak out too though.

  • daaam.. that was some great acting right there.. i have to watch this movie!! gotta know what that was about..

  • Don't you call me lady!! haha! classic. The other scene where she's like I've sucked other mens cocks... I couldn't stop laughing. too funny.

  • Overacting?

  • Julianne and Tom Cruise should have won Best Oscars for support at least. The film should have walked of with an Oscar also.

  • @annabellwells The film was 'too difficult' to win an oscar, not to mention how it sorta bombed at the box office. Which isn't to say it made no money, but considering TOM CRUISE is in the film (which usually guarantees 50 or so million by itself) this movie underperformed financially which probably disappointed those who'd be handing out the awards. Who knows..

  • @And8But That makes the Oscars a farce then. The award should be on the acting and dramatic effect. Thanks for telling me. magnolia will always be up there for me,

  • SHAME ON YOU OSCARS! GIVE HER ONE!!! Damn!

  • AMAZEBOMBS

  • haha.. this scene cracks me up...xD go julianne go go ...!! ..^^

  • Ahhh!!!! I LOVE it !!!!!

  • Give the woman an oscar! Sacrilege.

  • what a scene

  • Grande Julianne! What an actress.

  • Great... she´s fantastic!

  • @edwardsjr

Julianne is fantastic. What a powerful scene!

  • This scene affected me most....to know that this Andersen kid had knowledge of this kind of experience and how it can be so devastating still stuns me...who are you, PT??? I believe you are channeling both Einstein & Freud, while the comedy still prevails, is unbelievable!!! I AM IN AWE!!!

  • A great, great stunning scene...I kind of felt that this was going to transpire to a big confrontation on first viewing....as the scene ratchets up the simmering tension beautifully and Moore really manages to create a tangiable atmosphere around herself...while it plays out.

I honestly can't imagine anyone else ever playing this part...it seems unthinkable.

One of many literally 'stunning' scenes from just an absolutely mindblowing movie...Anderson is a true artist.

  • I love her.

  • Great actors don't act because they want to win an Oscar. They act because they are genuinely passionate about what they do, and Julianne Moore clearly falls into that category.

  • Julianne ella es una diosa,.

  • Fuck you1 Julianne Moore is a Goddes!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • @SoliDeoGloria2008

Agree, but also even its not that meaninfull, actors like the recognition ^_^, so just giv her a fking oscar xD

  • She should've won the Oscar for this scene alone. It's been years since I first saw the film and she haunts me still. Members of the Academy, suck my dick! Shame on you!

  • she wasn't nominated because she had also done 'end of the affair' that year and i guess the academy thought that was the better performance. It's a shame that she doesn't have an Oscar

  • @haleusca come on, this scene is the most overplayed of all time !

  • @haleusca

Dude she didn't even get nominated

    what tha fuuuckkkk.

  • her eyes are supposed to be devoid stupid... she's high on pills and i think this is one oif the best performances i've ever seen

  • Comment removed

  • Well you love gossip girl so your opinion has about as much weight as a helium balloon. Thanks for playing though.

  • Fuck youuuuuuuuuu Julianne moore is A fucking geniussssss

  • SUCK MY DICK

  • Ive been in this situation in reality unfortunately - when my dad had lou gehrigs disease and i had to fill all of his medications - very difficult scene to watch - the first time i watched this it just devastated me - she is a wonderful actress -

  • girl fucking power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is my favorite moment ever caught on film. She breaks my heart every time. It speaks to me about all these assumptions we carry around about people and their circumstances. Yes, Julianne Moore is genius here but so is PT Anderson!

  • one hell of an actress, sure

  • julianne moore should have won at least an oscar. i just don't understand how she hasn't been nominated for this film... this scene is epic.

  • AMAZING! SIMPLY AMAZING! I agree, she needs an OSCAR. What worries me about this year's Oscar's is that Mo'nique will be in the same category. She was so powerful in Precious. Newcomers can win, look at Jennifer Hudson. I loved Mo'nique's performance, but I say give it to the veteran actress who is long overdue. It's kinda like Glenn Close being nominated 6 times and never winning. She is an incredible actress as well. FINGERS CROSSED FOR JULI this year!

  • it's a tough call..Mo'nique was amazing and I think she really deserves it.

I think Julianne has plenty more opportunities to get an Oscar, so I don't think it's time for her to get a consolation Oscar for a body of work. And how exactly was she not nominated for Magnolia?

  • Gosh, why doesn't this brilliant woman have an Oscar yet. She is SO overdue.

  • I agree. Should have been al least nnominated for this. Should have got an Oscar for Boogie Nights and The End of the affair. Or Far from Heaven

  • memorable scene, wonderful to watch, moves you.

  • Words cannot express how good the acting is in the scene! I love the way you see her quietly winding up and simmering to her final outburst! The way she goes through the emotions is a true testament of her talent.

  • beautiful and talented woman. her talent exceeds her stardom

  • "Suck my dick!" Fucking epic. Julianne Moore, hottest and best actress ever.

  • @SakoTGrimes she are hottest like your arse probably...

  • Julianne moore

is the best actrees ever, she is amazingggg. love love julianne

  • I'll say it again and again, Julianne Moore should have won for her role in The Hours instead of Catherine Zeta-Jones' good, yet overrated performance.

  • @Nosferatu13 zeta jones is grossly overated

  • I am going say it - Julianne in this scene steals the movie away from Tom Cruise's performance. It is so unexpected and hilariously good!

  • I LUV U JULIANNE!!!

  • it did was a great movie. while watching it i remeber thinking(this is one of the best movies i´ve seen on a lot of time.

with one of the best sreenplay and movie directing ever! BUT what´s with the frogs? they ruined the movie. broke the atmosphere it was stuid.

  • It was related to the introduction about Fortean phenomena and emphasized the improbability of the synchronicity and interconnectedness that made up the main theme of the movie. I thought it was brilliantly complex.

  • you have no taste. julianne is one to fhe best and most underated actors around.. should have won an oscar a long time ago

  • are two different things, asshole.

  • bro

    c'mon

  • wow, you have no taste

  • A good actress and a beautiful actress are two different things.

  • i didn't mean that she was beautiful. i meant that you have no taste in actors.

  • Ahhh ! It's different. Anyway I don't care about your opinion, you american redneck proletarian nobody.

  • wow, you're an asshole. where are you from? the "western sahara?" if i'm nobody, what the fuck does that make you? jesus, at least my country has some sort of standing on this planet.

  • hahahhah hillarious response

  • Amazing actress

  • She is a thing of beauty in this scene although she annoys me!

  • DONT YOU CALL ME LADY!

  • so talented actress!

  • have you seen the rest of the movie?

  • I wanna fist Julianne Moore.

  • sublime !!!

  • Diva!!!! One of my all time favourite scenes!!

  • this is superb!!!!

  • She should won the Oscar for one this scene!

Love you Julianne - the best of the best!

  • Totally agree!!!!!!!

  • great actress

  • did she really just say "suck my dick"

  • Don't you really want to suck it though?

  • I think it should be law that Julianne Moore cry in every movie she makes. She's so Awesome!

  • this was a great scene. But mixing prozac and dexedrine is no big deal. I have done it many times. Lots of doctors prescribe this combination. I have never had any pharmacist even question it. So that ruins the scene's authenticity for me. When I first saw this I didn't notice they were talking about prozac (hardly more effective than placebo- negatively or positively). It's not like painkillers plus sedatives or stimulants etc.

  • He wasnt questioning just those two drugs. It was those two plus, liquid morphine. liquid morphine is VERY dangerous. So, adding these two others drugs makes it wise to call someone to check if this is real. Many times pharmacist lose their jobs and/or go to prison because of overdoses.

  • you're right. thanks. I don't know how I missed the morphine bit the first time.

  • This scene definately stood out when you watch the movie, very memorable and intense.

  • Yes, she is the best actress

  • what a great actress!!

  • The close-up when she starts to get angry is very reminiscent of Altman.

MAGNOLIA is in my top 3 favorite films of all-time, right behind A CLOCKWORK ORANGE and E.T. . Pure genius.

  • E.T WTF!!! xD

  • Julianne is beautiful in this movie.

  • "Julianne is beautiful in this movie"

She's beautiful in every movie she's been in. And she's one hell of great actress.
