Archos really pushed the dvr station for the 5 imt last christmas. I was foolish enough to buy one at bestbuy. When I got it home and got it running I found a key feature is no longer supported in the US. It has no channel guide any longer and does not expect one any time soon. The other features work, but, still it was a little slimy on Archos part advertising features that they know do not work.

Only in Europe for now, the USA uses another standard for terrestrial TV.. And European cities have much better coverage which is important for a portable DVB-T tuner like this.

Even if it does come to the US, I think it would be useless. We just killed off analog TV signals and everything is now digital. I could be wrong, but I doubt it would work.

i have one of these things i love it very much its very much worth getting ther 250gb if you want to record things ill go on like flying trips and ive recorded the show Lost or something and just watch it on the plane
