You neglect to mention since the end of the cold war America has continually financed the state of Israel! The USa gives more in financial assistance to Israel per anum than it does to every other country it assists combined! Not to mention the free military assistance! The USA has a strategic interest in the middle east as it is the biggest oil producing region globally! Having a superpower ally here give them more control in this region!
