  • haha, you are trippy

  • It's just an observation, but a friend of mine put on methadone by a doc for pain related to an injury in a car crash ended up so addicted she came close to loosing her life.

  • I'm 15 and I've taken Vicodin before for one thing : PAIN. I have been PRESCRIBED it from my dentist after a dental surgery. I've also had 2 prescriptions of Tussionex for cough because every year I go through episodes of severe harsh, deep coughing and even through seeing lung doctors they still don't know what's wrong.

  • What are you doing??? LOL. In all seriousness could painkillers be useful during deep tissue massage for people with scar tissue and muscle adhesions?

  • It's not just youth abusing this crap! It's also still the users of the past that have managed to survive... they love the oxy!

Just spent my weekend trying to stop a family member from killing himself after oding on oxy!! OH YA FUN!

  • presribe...I knew that....third time a charm...:)

  • i love you

  • Dude you're a great person. I like your style. Thank you for all your help.

  • i need one of those i can't stand the pain

  • My sister was (past tense) addicted to pills and she used to yell at me for smoking pot on occasion!!

  • opiates make me irritable/agitated after they wear off . very unpleasant feeling . i dont take perc/vic unless i am truly in lot of pain but even then, cannabis indica is a superior painkiller and mood stabilizer .

  • I hate to admit that i have to take the opiate meds to cope with my back pain. I do not have insurance so it is a great way to manage my pain. The gabapentin that i have been taking made me feel horrible. If anyone says that bulding discs are minor and should not cause pain they are wrong!

  • hes reffering to the people who don't need these types of medications, not the people who are chronic sufferers from pain. lol you missed the whole point fhcrotchhunter

  • sigh...people have pain..THe NEW herion!..get serious! People will always, always use these drugs. If not opiods some other drug ...it's the human condition and a well marketed one. I love these sanctimonious Dr.s who gladly subscribe something dangerous to help you get off of something dangerous. THEY'RE dangerous!

  • @wattsrightt ... dear self...ah that's perscibe. Life is short kiddies...keep it real...:)

  • awesome vids

  • smoke weed everyday

  • @LubricatedBeat weed can make some people paranoid ...used to be able to do it now i gotta either get drunk or pop like 6 xanax in order not to freak out ... you're either a pill popper or you're not ... pills are not for everyone , we are a special breed of addicts ...

  • smoke weed everyday

  • Excellent. If you have a drug addiction, you have a mental illness and should be referred to a psychiatrist. No matter how you get started, a good psychiatrist can make the path of withdrawal a humane one.

  • one of the best channels out there keep it up dude

  • I'm hooked on Tramadol and Don't know how to stop, I'm thinking mixing Trazodone with it, to help get me off Tramadol.

  • @thisvoice25 - Whatever you do, don't let a doctor put you on methadone to get you off of Ultram/Tramadol. That happened to me. It is like putting gasoline on fire.

  • Ur like my cat the way u blink one eye and not the other...Meow

  • Doctor of mind MD. There is a large surge in use of the drug Methedrone in the UK and Europe. Have you seen or heard anything about the effects from long term usage? The tabloid press has gone wild about it in the UK and there seems to be a link between long term use and psychosis. Many thanks!

  • I'll just blame society

  • Perhaps consider Kratom? It has been noted to possess very mild mu-opioid agonism and moderate delta-opioid agonism, and it has very low abuse potential.

  • I was addicted to Oxycontin for only 4 months, thankfully. I used it under prescription for back pain, and it worked, but the side effects were horrendous. I can't imagine what it must be like to abuse slow release oral opiates. And thats comming from someone who has used IV opiates for pleasure.

  • because the make you feel great

  • Why do people abuse these drugs?

  • Same reason as any other drug. Some people just want to get high.

In the specific case of pills though, a lot of people will get it prescribed for a legitimate pain and end up getting hooked on it.

  • because the make you feel great

  • To ease their suffering, triclopse1. Then they develop "tolerance," which means they need to use dangerously more to get the same pain numbing effect.

  • this video will save lives..

  • I think it would have been nice for you to say the benefits of these drugs. when comparing to heroin, heroin wasn't used as a medical treatment in the 70's (i know it started out as a medical research) - there are people using these drugs for chronic pain that have no other option and when taken as prescribed do not deserve to get the "What are you doing?!?!?" response.

  • He is only talking about the abusers, who usually go out of their way to get more and more drugs. Some hav multiple doctors to get more perscriptions.

  • @fhcrotchhunter sigh...people have pain..THe NEW herion!..get serious! People will always, always use these drugs. • I had this problem. It is HORRIBLE. The depression you get from opiod withdrawal makes normal depression like look a sunny day. I myself had to go on methadone, the only thing that has kept me off. Cold turkey never worked for me..

  • Again thank you, if you could at sometime do a talk on the best meds to take for Schizophenia (parinod) that would be great! And maybe how you became interested in your profession.... :) thank you!

  • Thanks for that, it is a very big concern at the moment people getting hold of all sorts of drugs, I had a DJ working for me once who would take anything he could get his hands on just to see what would happen and then take mixtures of different ones....

  • tramadol and co-codamol 30-500 fuck you up

  • Addiction to narcotics and other substances is only getting worse with all the problems we have in this country. I am glad you are on youtube to give this message, so young people know they can get help with this totally treatable problem. The other problem most people don't hink about is most pain pills have acetaminopen in them and they are destroying their livers by taking huge amounts of it everyday.

  • Yeah, I'm always warning people my age not to do pain killers, or if they are going to be idiots, I tell then never to mix them with alcohol, stimulants, or benzodiazepines... but I feel my advice is falling on def ears.

  • Wow...thanks for doing a video like this because I know someone close to me like this...it's crazy...but I've also heard horror stories about methadone...it costs money and its hell to get off of, so I don't think that's the answer either...but I'm not a doc...this person needs help though, I'm glad you addressed it again...plus, your hot when your getting ready for bed!

  • are those meds more dangerous than say extacy?
