The people who are FOR the death penalty most likely dont pay taxes and just run their mouths about it. Everyone should know that executions cost more tax money than life in prison. FACT. Its uncivilized and stupid to have the death penalty in the USA.

Because the statement before mine said people whom pay taxes did not agree with the death penalty. 2nd, Death penalty is not a deterrent. Its as exactly as it states, a "penalty". Only people that dont like death penalty preach the deterrent shit. Its a punishment. When u take someones life n a criminal manner u forfeit yours. I think that is pretty simple. Let me know if it is not & we can continue discussing. I dont like taxes, but would pay more if they would hurry the process up a little.

As for deterent, studies show and monitor that the death penalty does NOT cause the murder rate to go down. FACT. So do your research.Cases are all different and NOT "simple" to forfeit,lives are at stake,everyone deserves fair trials,using your tax money.

U r trying 2 make it complicated. It wasnt very complicated when the accused pulled the trigger. But go ahead & make it as complicated as u wish. America deserves the consequences of your efforts. I had someone close to me murdered. Their is a group, murder victims against the death penalty. Some of us choose to take the power and strength to forgive rather than spend our lives crying and hateing and murdering more(death penalty). The death penalty is not PERFECTLY designed and the complexity of it has gotten some innocent people killed legally. Since the penalty cant possibly be perfectly & fairly implimented(ITS NOT)for the worst evil offenders then "thou shall not kill".

You do not look at how many black or white people or men or woman that are in the USA then say how many should be on Death row.
You look at how many people that are killing people then see how many of them are on death row.

Actually, 9 of the 11 women executed in the US since 1976 have been White. Looking at the numbers, one could infer that the US is biased against Whites. Straight numbers don't tell you anything.

Actually it's because women commit these crimes for different reasons than men do. Male serial killers kill for sexual pleasure, female serial killers do it for more dignified reasons. Males are sadistic and disgusting, they deserve harsher punishments.

Romans 13 gives the death penalty the okay.
Civilized countries SHOULD execute murderers. It's because human life is valuable that if you purposely take a life, you should pay with your own.
BTW I'm not against Texas executing criminals...I just think Bush's attitude (oboy, I get to kill people legally) sucks. For example, when I punish my son, I don't enjoy it.
