  • WOW coolio! Stop the vid at 1:36, there's Wolverine!

  • She threw the fuckin bag of weed out deliberately, stupid bitco!

  • im sorry but this never stops amazing me

  • "Ok guys, who's gonna go and get the bag then?"

  • I love you NASA!!!!!!!!!!!

  • okay

  • D'oh!

  • Amazing...

  • It is very interesting video !!!

  • Flying tool

  • bad bag

i saw part of this EVA on NASA TV

  • I just realized something...

Moments ago, I watched the space station fly by as I always do whenever it makes a reasonably bright visible pass. I folloed it with my dads binoculars as I usually do, but I noticed a dim object floating behind it, but I didn't know what it was until now. I just put the pieces together: they lost a bag from the spacewalk to other day and that's what I saw! NEAT! I guess since the bag is white, it would be reflective which is why I could see if from 220 miles away.

  • Tooo small too far, how is that possible?

  • You can see almost any satellite with your naked eye if you look closely enough and you can see them better with binoculars. However, it only works when the sun is hitting them just right. I've probably seen little bolts of tiny bits of space junk floating around and flickering as they rotate in the sunlight, but most of the satellites I see, I can't identify except for the ISS.

  • You have obviously mistaken me for the person who is concerned about your opinion. But hey, keep looking. Someday you might find him.

  • Oh wow, you must have the world's most powerful binoculars! Ha ha, you are funny.

  • No, I know for a fact that it's visible. There's a story about it on slashdot now. It's a magnitude 8 object which puts it beyond the range of human vision but within the range of what binoculars can see. I know it's counter-intuitive, but I assure you that such objects ARE visible from Earth. If you can see space junk and spent rocket boosters, you can see a bag of tools, especially one that's colored white. Don't laugh at things you don't know about. You've just embarrassed yourself.

  • There is a website you can go to to find out the times the ISS flies over your location. You enter your ZIP code or coordinates in and it will tell you when the flyby times are. The ISS usually appears as a magnitude -1 to -2.5 object in the sky making it the brightest object visible (besides the Moon or Sun, of course). Amateur astronomers across teh planet have reported the bag to be as bright as -6 to -8 putting it just beyond the level that can be seen by human vision but not with binoculars

  • Wow you're pathetic. You're now grasping at straws for ways to insult me after having been thoroughly proven to be an ignorant fool. Are you really that much in need of someone to insult? "OH LOOK HE THINKS HE SEES TOOLBAGS FLOATING IN SPACE HE MUST BE A RETARD LOL" Nope, turns out you really can see object in orbit from the ground "YOU DIDN'T FIGURE OUT THAT I DONT CARE SO YOU'RE STILL A RETARD LOL" Goddamn you're pathetic. You must have a very low self esteem. Go cry yourself to sleep emo kid.

  • Weather permitting, if the ISS is scheduled to make a fairly bright visible pass over my location, I always go out and watch the pass with binoculars. With good magnification, you can see the roughly "H" shape of the ISS. In any case, you're making a fool out of yourself. Apparently you were unaware that you can see satellites from Earth. Don't accuse me of being delusional. Apparently you're one of these people who hates to be proven wrong. I know it hurts, but you're very clearly wrong.

  • which website is that?

    thx :)

This video is nuts! Imagine repairing something while having a massive nothingness between you and the pacific ocean. Exhilarating. Especially while being held by a tiny connection (@ 0'31")...

  • awesome
