@eltoro13 I have a focus st3 in blue and it's a work of art in my opinion, scooby's are noisey how the hell you can hear yourself talk in them beats me. You get noticed in both motors but for all the right reasons in an ST, go for a 3 door ST3 in performance blue you can't go wrong my friend.

Damn you Ford; the Europeans get the nice version and we get stuck with the mundane variant. The closest we HAD was the ZX3 SVT and it's been discontinued in favor of a coupe (with trunk/boot). Might have to resort to an Opel/Vauxhall/Saturn Astra for my next commuter car.
The 08 U.S. Focus will be out in a few months. They're dropping the wagon and the five door hatchback. No high performance options either - no SVT; no 2.3 Mazda motor, just the original 2.0 mill. As the owner of an 02 SVT, I had hoped to trade it in on an 08 high performance model but that's not going to happen. Looks like it will be Subaru for me.
To: wickedsks from CtYank42 - Thanks for the suggestion about the Volvo HB. It's one of the cars that I've considered but it's a bit pricey over here. I'm now considering keeping the "SVT" and buying an 08 Suzuki SX4 Sport Sedan as a daily driver. It would be my seventh Suzuki vehicle (four motorcycles and two cars), since 1965. Wish we had as many automotive choices in the U.S. as you folks in Europe. God bless!!
The really need to make a GOOD fast car.. this is a really nice car, brother has got one.. but they really need to bring out something like the cosworth again.. dont you think? a BWD with about 300 BHP? or something but it has to be 4x4 or BHW.. no more stupid FWD..
Ive had an R32, only had it 8 months and i had so many problems with it cant even remember them all, aswel as that the trim fell to bits, overpriced, rubbish. I much prefer my ST i have had no problems and it goes like the clappers

The new focus ST (MK3) will be avaible in 2012 in europe, and yes it is coming to the USA too.

North to South engines drop into these cars with minimal chassis modifications, I don't think a Golf R32 can do that!
