I don't think that snipers are safer than typical infantry. If anything, they're taking even MORE risks. Think about it, bullets can only travel so far, so even if they haven't been seen, they're by no means at a "safe" location. After they take the shot, they have to get out of there fast because when they do fire, the enemy would hear the gunshot and investigate. And even if they don't get caught by enemy troops there's still a chance that they could get killed by an enemy sharpshooter.

@Broly3k8 Those are different ammo types, with its advantages and disadvantages. 12.7x99 mm is better for piercing armor (smaller bullet) and got better range, but 20mm crushes the armors (like 12ga slugs) and can be mixed with HE warhead (it was mentioned in vid) - compare ammo types on internet info.
