I noticed while using the "e-key" that there are other timeline keyboard shortcuts including the "m-key" which creates what I assume is a marker. Is there a way to label that marker?
@bitsofblender - Hey John - doing great, my Friend. I see how to create the marker (M-key), but not sure how to (re)name it after creating. All I see is a little inverted carot in the timeline. And what does the "offset" value indicate when you're moving it?
@bitsofblender About the "Arc Enemy" chapter in the "Character Animation" DVD, but I found it, it was as simple as, while in Pose Mode, hitting W then clicking on "Calculate Paths" and on 2.5 is hidden in the Pose menu under Motion Paths --> Calculate :D Although it might still be a good subject for a future show :P
@akaryb Thanks! I am thinking of doing a book (I wrote a couple books on Director & Lingo a looooong time ago). I taught this technique in my Blender Basics 2 video.
Wow ! That is a very neat feature...Using Blender for quite so long and I did not know it ..Dam ! I wish I knew it before !....I am most on Blender 2.5 now...2.49b will be at the museum in no time.
@blenderguy2008 2.5 is very nice, but it is an alpha. And because it's an alpha things are still changing. Many features are not yet implemented (like this one that has been in there for years). It is not as stable (and the undos drive me nuts). It has many long months before it will be out of beta. Right now I'm straddling both 2.5 and 2.49b. If I want to do anything serious, I'll chose 2.49b. Richard has tried 2.5 and loves it. I'll have to pry him off it for doing Bits in 2.49b now.
@mrjimmyos You're welcome! This works for IPO Object animation, for a walk cycle you'd use the GStep and Ghost on the Visualizations panel in Pose mode for the armature.

Thanks again!!!

@0gnaws0 Hey Ognaws0! How've you been? Use CTRL-M to create a marker and name it.

@0gnaws0 Use CTRL-M again to rename. The offset value is how far you've moved it from its original location.
