without Stalin, Russia wouldnt exist today. He helped revolutionize Russia with his steel industries (even though he sent many intellectuals into the gulag and forced many people to work in siberia, which was wrong) but he was the one who beat the Germans, restored Russias glory in World War II.
He did commit alot of massacres because he was paranoid, but thats no excuse. However, he still managed to defeat Hitlers massive army with his persuasive, yet fearful command.

As usual you're not making any sense! Only tiny %% of movies now watched via broadcasts. Most are on DVDs, rentals, cable, etc.... And there are 1000s of small private broadcasters in US. How do they know what is "forbidden" among 100-s of movie titles. Is there some government agency somewhere publishing the lists of "forbidden" movies nobody ever heard of?

Nonsense! CIA is foreign intelligence agency. It is prohibited by law from any conducting operations inside the US. FBI is federal law enforcement agency and prohibited by law from interfering in local affairs of the states and has strict rules in which cases it can get involved. None of them even begins to compare to KGB terror in USSR.

Naive child! I lived under Stalin. Apartments were not free, neither was medicine. People were living in appalling conditions when he was building palaces for communist apparatchiks. Medicine was 50 years behind West. And higher education was not even available for overwhelming majority of the people.

If that is so, why all the democracies have perfectly legal socialist and even communist parties alive and well functioning and even winning some elections. Under communist rule no other political parties were ever allowed. The 1st thing Lenin did is to annihilate all of his former political allies who helped him to come to power.

No they are not "microscopic". I lived in Italy in 1977. Communists had frequent demonstrations, significant representation in Parliament, major news paper, major street in Rome still named after Palmiro Togliatti. If the communist ideas failed, that's their problem, not democracy.

Yes that's exactly how it works in all the countries except communist. On Mexican and Canadian they don't even ask any documents from people leaving US. No democratic country in the world restricts the right of their citizens to immigrate anywhere they want for any reason or without any reason. USSR was totalitarian dictatorship. Any private enterprise - schools, doctors, housing... were against the law. People had no choice but to get everything from the government. Ultimate form of slavery. Besides NOTHING IN THE WORLD IS FREE. Everything is paid by taxpayers. No government in the world produces or "gives" anything to anybody for free. Governments only re-allocate resources.

I played at their parties, party conferences, government retreats, where ordinary Russian citizens were never allowed near those places. Ever been to Barvikha near Moscow? There is nothing to dispute! I saw the author of this hypothesis Boris Borisov on RT. All he ever offers is HIS extrapolations from from HIS analysis of statistical data. No witnesses, no evidence of any kind. Where are the bodies of 7 000 000 people? Where are the mass graves? Nobody ever seen them, buried them or wrote about them? There is no censorship in USA. No government media. No mass graves. No secret labor camps. Did they just disappeared in thin air?
