After watching this, I realised I done wrong and threw away all my copied games on the Amiga. I realised then i had no games. and being 12, I couldn't afford the £500 at least, so I didn't play my Amiga ever again. I was offered more copies in school but I spat on my best friend who offered me Monkey Island 2. I still feel a secret shame, and I declare it whenever I go for a job interview.

This was the most stupid feature they ever did on bad influence, all they did was advertise to young kids that these copying devices existed.

I bet quite a few started copying as a result of this show

To be honest, im not sure if this whole piracy section was a good or bad idea. I dont really think kids would be put off from piracy just from this section but i bet a whole bunch of people who didnt know about piracy now did!!

I reckon ITV probs had trading standards/some video game publisher who run ads on ITV, leaning on them to do an anti-piracy slot.

@adhvideos Totally agree, I wasn't even aware of piracy back then because the internet wasn't in use. I remember seeing the snes copier and thinking is was the coolest thing ever.
