  • It's deflating.

  • There should be a Public Hearing into the 2007 roof collapse. There was $5,000,000 diverted from roof safety to wages, salaries and bonuses. I am sure these funds were also diverted, most likely to pay off BCGEU and WorksafeBC representatives

  • The Stadium Operators failed to follow strict manufacturer safe work procedures to ensure zero accumulation of ice on the Teflon Fibreglass membrane. 20 years of exposing ice to the membrane damaged its structural integrity. The roof should be certified by an Engineer prior to the Olympics.

  • @vancouverlifeguard it had nothing to do with accumulation over the course. Quite simply, on this day they didnt have the de-icer on and the minor amount that built up when added to the mildly cool temperatures, caused the product to fail. Look back to vancouverlifeguard's comment; I think THAT sounds reasonable

  • Wow

  • game on!

  • Dang, does it mean the game is canceled?

  • @KrazyKarasz they got a temporary stadium in PNE.. somewhere... for BC lions
