The most striking thing about this game is the art scheme. The bright sunny city with white buildings is different, it looks like something out of a cartoon. Its weird that then the citizens are oppressed.

The way the air rushes in your ears when you fall down the side of a skyscraper is freaky. They don't play music or anything to cover it up.  I highly suggest playing with a decent set of speakers if you've got em.

there's a lot of crap goin round about the story line and i admit that it is quite short, but what with time trials and speed runs, u'll be wanting to get onto the top of the leader board and with the first chapter fastest speed run at approx. 4 minutes, ur gonna be exploring every inch of those levels for a shortcut, o and its in no way assasins creed in 1st person view, play it or rent or download the demo

i got the demo and it was cool and i rented it. wouldnt recomend buyin it cuz its short. i beat it in one day but if i hadnt of stoped every hour i would have beat in 8 hours at most. also the time races will piss u the fu*k off trust me. good game though

In your review you state that Mirror's Edge is the first game to be built entirely around first person platforming. That's not so. I remember playing Jumping Flash for the original PlayStation some 13 years ago. It was a phenomenal game that was way ahead of its time when it was released. It had 2 sequels also but only parts 1 and 2 were released in America. Otherwise I thought it was a nice review. I'm looking forward to playing the game.

It wouldn't be worth buying it for only one playthrough. However, you'll probably want to play through it again on hard mode and without shooting people to get the Test of Faith achievement. After that, you can have lots of fun playing the time trials, trying to beat the speedrun times and finding all the hidden bags. I've already spent more than 20 hours on the game an I still love it a lot. Some levels are so awesome you'll want to play them over and over. :)

I, for one, enjoy the fact that you don't finalize your opinion with a score. It allows the audience to actually consider what you have to say. But, of course, there are still people that are like "I watched the video, but I need numbers to actually know what you think of it looool" Regardless, keep up the good work.
