I buy one paper for each family member on Sunday . To coupon all you have to do is Google the store name that Sundays date and the words "coupon matchups" ex Walmart coupon matchups 11/6/11... they do the work for you . I have a great stock pile most was free and I don't have any stores double coupons in Des Moines. If you have a walgreens cvs Target or Walmart in your area you need to coupon ..it helps big time .

@GaryMule I just love rising prices . My soda/pop I drink went up from .67 to .85 a 2litre.. I guess I will have to quit soon and save $40.00 a month. Yeah I need to get busy buying peanut butter . We use peanut butter for lunches and I like it also.

@GaryMule Yeah I should start saving jars w/lids for some use. I might keep them to store pasta in. I really am trying to avoid keeping boxed types of food out of the basement. Because dont want bugs.

Nice preps, I am working on getting on the canning bandwagon too! Will be cheaper in the long run, and last just as long as the store bought stuff, if done right. There is a great place to buy 3 month supply of food for one person @ 3 meals/day for like $100 (20 year shelf life). I will send you link in PM if you are interested. I need to buy some more fuel cans for my camp type stoves. This way if we loose power I can still cook something. We dont reall drink milk so I can buy the evaraped or condensed cans or even the self milk at the dollar tree. If I would need it to make something. Stock up on some multi vitimins.

@TodaySurvive I bought 2 more of those propain canisters for the 2 burner camp stove. I need to do a test run on that stove and the micro stove. This way when I need to use it I will know how.
