nope nope nope, u can do it REALLY fast! build dispenser, quickly grab ammo, jump up build exit, DESTROY DISPENSER, grab ammo, build entrance, grab ammo, tele up, destroy exit, now jump carefully and build another exit on roof. done. just make sure to hide ur exit and dispenser outta sight and for god sakes soldiers and demos KEEP THE FORWARD SIDE OF THE ROOF CLEAR!

It is much much much faster to just have a medic boost you up there.

They fixed that exploit also. Medics can no longer boost engineers up with their needle gun.

that isnt useless, if there were a sentry on the main roof then it would be vulnerable from that exit so that sentry there would make all the difference

no it wouldn'the got up there 5 seconds into the round, you'd just have repair your sentry a lot and it's a great spot for snipers and heavies

i mean getting a sentry ready and stuff, though depending on how good the rest of the tem is, the other team could be slown down enough to get everything set up good.

Going to have to try this on a emepty server to see how quick i can do it.

since people are finding out the medic syringe boosting im guessing the set up time could be much much quicker if you use that method instead - till valve "fix" it anyway :)

Sometimes have problem getting that teleport on the small part of the roof setup. other time i nail it good and my team really seem to enjoy it. I also placed my sentry looking over the ledge that looks at the teleport and it seem to pick off random people, i took out like 10 people before a demoman mange to get it.

Are you serious? After 5 matches, I somewhat mastered that technique, by the time the set up time gets to 0 I already built my dispenser on the roof.

I have to admit tho, just one careless mistake and you'll be late in building your tele.

How do you get on the roof after teleporting? I can't seem to make the jump and I just fall off.

you have to crouch jump - that is to jump and then crouch mid air- enables you to get a little higher up- failing that you can build a dispenser and climb onto that :)

I think I'll have to try using another dispenser as a step, because when jumping off the tele I always hit the little bit of overhang off the roof.
