the style jaa presents generally is muay boran (which simply means "ancient boxing") which refers to all the original regional styles of muay thai (muay koran, muay chaiya, muay lopburi etc.) many of these movements have been discarded for sport muay thai because of their general ineffectives (such as "hanuman gives the ring," a double uppercut.) the only fighters i know to have used these moves are somrak khamsing and occasionally, samart payakaroon.
