It is not these fools in the video that make hockey tough (they're a joke), it's the speed it's played at.

I can skate twice as fast as I can run, which means the hits are much harder and the impact greater. I can skate farther faster to make a hit then a rugby player can to make a tackle (or what ever it is you do, not sure, sorry).

When ur playing hockey its very physical and u develop enemies quickly on the ice. there is a lot of trash talking as well, so u can believe they definitely do have alot against in other in some cases.
