  • Ill get a mirror tint for my lights

  • How do you make it a perfect circle?

  • nice

  • now how do you get that stuff off?

  • DOES THIS COME OFF IF IT HAS TO?

  • Dude this is Awesome!! You make it look easy haha

  • i shouldve used this stuff instead of the spray on, this stuff is a whole lot cleaner looking.

  • @thomasduff09 Yes sir!! let me know if you need any..

  • wats the title of song?

  • great job man!!

  • @jdmderick Thank you for your support!!

  • Great video. I like how you showed us the whole process including working around compound curves. The stuff you used here looks good. I like how it looks with the back up lenses left white too. I know people who have used regular tint but it gets all scratched/ nicked up. Lamin-X is good but their smoke tint is super thick so it looked a bit too dark on my tails but is fine on the white corner and bumper lenses. I may just be back to pick up some of this stuff soon. Thanks!

  • @BionicKris Cool, Thanks for this great comment!

  • is the tint the same as the one used for windows??

  • @mc11121993 No, its a vinyl!

  • were do you buy the plastic

  • is that sleepy brown from cholo adventures? lol

  • Gotta give him credit.. he finish putting those tint within 4 minutes haha

  • @808tainment haha, more like 25 minutes!!

  • duded you are a sick cunt.the best, good you don't use water bottles.you're a professional in my eyes.all other dick heads use water alcohol ans so on .shit.you're the best man you rock.

  • is that oracal 8300? im thinking about adding this to my window tinting business but other colleagues keep telling me its too hard wtf?

  • @Vic3D If you are a good window tinter, You would be ok!!! I could work out something if you wanna buy the vinyl from me!! I also have 3D Carbon Fiber available!!

  • @jayboui I was just wondering since I am an AMATURE at tinting how do I cut out circles so that light can pass through the tint. I own a Lancer and I want to tint the entire light except the actual brake lights.. btw your work is amazing hope I can get as close as you did

  • @Vic3D if you have good vinyl and a good blower or heat gun youll be ok the key is the heat helps it stretch and form perfectly

  • @Vic3D Just try it..

  • Would that hold up to a Canadian Winter? =o

  • i have a corolla 10 and i try do my tailights but its just the top of the lights its soo hard and curvy and peals off

  • WWould a hair dryer suffice?

  • how to remove that?.... mine it's hellah hard now and i tryed everything to take it off.... help?

  • @keithahfua Steamer

  • @keithahfua Depends on the material.. But apply some heat with a heat gun or a steamer.. It should come off easy!

  • how did you do the curve on the tail light? i have the same car and the tint always folds. did you cut a piece off?

  • @Chigaaazzz use the heatgun or hair dryer so that it could soften and stretch

  • I don't think I would have cut out that circle for the reverse light... But awesome job.

  • excellent,,il give this 1 a tryyyyyyyyyy

  • What is the best way smoke the lights the paint or the vinyl can someone help me out because i plan to get this done soon

  • can you get pulled over for tinted tailights or get a ticket for them??

  • @TheDemoMaster1 Yes and Yes lol But most cops won't pull you over specifically for that

  • Looks fucking sick! How'd you get it to stick on there? Does the heat gun just melt it or is there something else too?

  • i tried without the heat gun and its impossible so the heat gun is a must!

  • good job man, i always admire people who do stuff to there cars. I just dont like the music. :)

  • Damn dude, Nice work.

  • whyd you cut the reverse lights out??

  • yankssssss

  • Can you find the tint like in store??

  • looks good man! props!

  • black looks so gay on lights

  • izit possible for us to tint any of the car lamp?even its curved?

  • LMFAO Thats the CHEAPIST FUKCING WAY just made my day

  • Awesome job man, looks awesome! I wanna do this to my duramax tails

  • @Andy851 Thank you!

  • hey bro what percent you use on the corolla?

  • I want smoked, but It would look messy on my passat :p

  • @MadDogMeh Depends, If you it the correct way it would like NICE!

  • @jayboui Like if you look at the factory lights on a 2000 Passat, there are alot of plastic lines which sucks :(

  • @MadDogMeh Once it dries it would look nice.. the first few days its going to look wavy.

  • is that regular tint? or that sticky film u put on ur cellphone to protect your screen?

  • @DRO55DTF Its a vinyl.. NOT window film

  • Did he cut the reverse light out by hand? WOW, nicely done!

  • @canttuckmyshirt Yes, I cut out the reverse light by hand.. GOTTA have a steady hand..

  • YOU CAN USE NORMAL WINDOW TINT. just follow normal window tinting procedure and heat dry the tint immediatly after application

  • Where in Florida do you live? Wondering if you would tint my lights

  • nice work .. u in ny,, how much u charge ..lol

  • So, would it fall off?

  • @crazyphilly555 If you do it the correct way. Nothing would happen it would last anywhere from 3 to 5 years.

  • can i use a blow dryer?????

  • you know you can use vht night shade....tint film?....lmao!!!!!!!

  • @SaintRos95s If you use VHT or similar products you permanently alter your OEM tail lights even if you happen to mess up. If you use a vinyl overlay it's always uniform and can be removed back to OEM look at any time. There is more than one way to do anything, but this is best option for a lot of people. Often when you resale, you may want to put it back to a stock OEM look.

  • @SaintRos95s Well...... One the VHT Night Shade looks cheap. If a cop pulls you over and tells you to get rid of it, headlights aren't cheap. tilt films, you can easily remove it by hand without spending a money to replace anything.

  • tint or smoke... which is better and why???

  • what is that a blow dryer?

  • @bl0keXViX Pretty much. Its a heat gun.

  • is it better to have a pro do it or could i do it by myself?

  • Nice job Man but yo is this shyt removalbe?

  • Great results

i would love to do work on cars

  • nice work bro, the dude who did mine was doing it pretty fast, looks like u like doing what u do. keep it up!! is that a corolla s or xrs? i got a 2010 toyota s black and blacked out tails.

  • ohhh muy bien chico te kedo wapo

  • EXCELLENT JOB WELL DONE

  • why did you take off the vinyl that covered the reverse lights?

  • @TeeJay292 So they are still bright when he needs them, otherwise it will be hard to see at night when the owner is backing up

  • Very cool vid!

    Question;

Can this be done with normal window tint?

I live in The Netherlands and can't get this here.

    Greetz

  • @MFAssen yea that is just strips of normal window tint there is no differnce.

  • respect man!!!!!!!

  • such a waste of time. you can remove the tail lights and spray them and reinstall them faster than having to deal with a heat gun....and you don't have to push out air bubbles and keep repositioning the shit...and it's still removable with acetone/paint thinner

  • do you find it easier to put the vinyl dry or wet?

  • why did cut out the circle?

  • how much would a mod like that cost?

  • can you use a hair dryer instead of a heat gun?

  • how does it cost to do this and do you have to cut out the white light

  • este como que yo lo conozcooo!!!

  • Or you can just use vht nightshades....easier

  • looks sick bro

  • do you apply the film dry? or with some soapy water?

  • Nice vid! Those tail lights look tight. Oh quick question, I dont have a queegie and dont have time to order any online or buy one, what can I use from an ordinary house that would still work? Thanks

  • Is this really hard to do? looks like in the vid the guys done this enough times before. I'm not really good at this stuff cuz i never do it. but do you think i can do it myself? also if you accidentally put a crease in the vinyl while putting it on can you take it out? Also is it expensive to do? is it possible without a heat gun like yours?

  • How did you manage to cut that circle out of reverse light, did you scratched the glass?

  • @Andrewso10 he did it with a blade its in his hand 3:32

  • does it come in red smoke? i want to do it on some ugly euro lights for a civic!!

  • is it leagal to do that to your front lights???

  • on a lil older car would i have to buff the tail lights? an do i have to cut out the the reverse light

  • on a lil older car would i have to buff the tail lights?

  • I put onnnnnnnnnn... SMOKED TAIL LIGHTS

  • oh and looks really nice but could you please get back to my question itll help alot

  • is this illegal in florida cuz i live in florida and eventually ill want to do this when i get a car cuz it gives the car a retro look to it and looks really nice are the cops douche bags about it

  • perfect job!

  • Just got 20% installed on my 09 Corolla XRS. Wondering if I should told the tinter to cut around the white light area. Maybe it would've been less chance of cops coming after me. Fingers crossed

  • Good shit jayboui,

    I'm following your lead

  • Thats like one of the worst lens to work with, sticks out too much.

  • regular tint and vinyl tint.. wheres the difference?

  • if u got to dat all that i will just go to the shop

  • this guy is a lier..i bought 5% tint and i got it put on my rear tail lights...Hes lying to you so youll buy from him..Mine look as nice as his....

  • @nitrorckid123 Would love to see some pictures!!

  • @nitrorckid123 you used regular window tint?

  • @nitrorckid123 the stuff that you are supposed to use is vinyl regular tint does not behave in the same way nor does it last as long mine are going 3 years strong and still look like new

  • for the heat could you use a blow dryer...?

  • ouch nice ima deffenetly try this on my car when i get it soon

question the masking that you are using is it the same one that you use on tinted windows?

  • thank you

  • 2 question -- How long do you yhink the outdoor life of the product in Florida? Are you using the Oracle vinyl or the thick one ( laminex) ?

  • @watchdaride Oracal Vinyl. Ive had it on my vehicle for 2 years and it still looks good. I live in FL!

  • @jayboui Where at in Florida? I need my lights done!

  • about what length would you need for the 2 tail lights?

  • @liljohn38 Depends what type of vehicle its for! Average about 36" just in case you mess something up..

  • that looks clean man good job

  • you are a master jayboui yeah¡¡ great work man...¡¡¡

  • Thats really good man! nice job...I wish you would do mine....LOL!

  • why wouldnt u use spray tint?

  • @highwaytohell15 Vinyl you can remove when ever you want!

  • ye man looks good!

  • good job dude!

  • Will 5% work or is that to dark? I had clear lights but I keep getting stopped so im tinting my stock ones :(

  • @DropDownLowrider The vinyl i used here its about a 15% i think that's good enough. That's the darkest they make it with the brand i use.

  • Hello, I was wondering if you could smoke out your tail lights if your 17 years old?

  • @yahtottaly yeah if you get a recon if needed

  • @yahtottaly Age doesn't matter! That's like asking if its illegal to use a cell phone when your only 10 years old!! Check with your local police station to see if its legal or not!

  • damn, that looks so hot lol. very nice job

  • hi i want to purchase the vinyl u use in your video

i have a couple of questions

i have to do this outside, so no heat gun

i tried using car window tint thinking it's the same thing but it wouldn't go on curved tail lights, it was stiff and developed wrinkles

what is the difference b/w vinyl and window tint? can i do this without needing a heat gun???

    thanks.

  • @kenmastersmaster if you gotta do it outside, ide get a drop cord/extension cord to reach where your doin it. and if you dont have a heat gun, you can use a blow dryer. but im pretty sure you need some type of heat,

  • @kenmastersmaster you may need a heat gun for the curve! Difference is that vinyl is alot more flexible than window tint, That makes a huge difference..

  • you get down...look kool....i just painted them ....one koat of black...

  • yo man do u think that will servives snow and rain and all that shit???????plz halla bac

  • @ShotCalla00 Maybe, Never know till you try it! I live in FL and mine still look good after 2 years.

  • wouldent it be a little easier to just remove the tail lights then instill tint?

  • the film used on the lights is the sam used on the windows? or is an special film for the lights?

  • @hansblink182 Its a vinyl!

  • is this illegal?

  • @Crackheadrobot check with your local police department!

  • And what about police?? it is permitted? in my country i think it is illegal like tint front windows

  • @VLCquique Check with your local police department!

  • do you know if you can use regular tint bro!?!?

  • @eeweist Nop, Only Vinyl!

  • @jayboui Can I ask why only vinyl tint?

  • @liamosupremo1 durability. it will last much longer in outdoor conditions.

  • @myflowisunreal What if you get tired of Smoked tail lights? Then you buy new tail lights and how much is that going to cost?? :)

  • @jayboui paint thinner, gasoline, and a little elbow grease. 20 minutes and bang, tail lights are lookin better then before you painted them

  • i just bought some of the vinyl tint for my 03 honda civic. gotta make sure i get it right lol, why didnt you use a soapy solution? does this type of vinyl not require to stay wet during the process? please respond, thanks

    ps. your corolla looks banging

  • @hvtsoccer10 you can use baby shampoo but just a little bit... It would help a bit.. Hope it helps.

  • Tint is wayy nicer than that VHT bullshit

  • can i use regular window tint on tail lights?

  • @IK407 no cuz window tint is made for the inside of your car, it cant endure the same weather and stuff as the vinyl does

  • @IK407 NO, It's a Vinyl you can get it at our online store

  • sick with it

  • Great job, looks killer! Some videos look like plain old window tint is used on the tail lights but yours looks much thicker. I see you put a link but please tell me, is it thicker than normal window tint? Seems like it's more of a stretchy kind of stuff. There was also no water used which makes me think it's different. Can you let me know if I'm right? I may do this to my ride, thanks :)

  • @Didgeman80 Its an Vinyl, You can apply it with water but can't use alot of it. you can get the vinyl at our online store.

  • what percent tint did you use on the silver corolla? looks clean

  • @StressFreeWorldWide It's about an 15%

  • thats dopee nicee job man

  • hey man good workk i was thinkin to do this in my alfa romeo mito it would be great no ?

btw nice video keep up the good work

  • @sa3333d Thanks, Yeah you should do it to your car.

  • @NewsPaperTV101 its an vinyl, You can get it at our online store.

  • do you need special film for this or can i just use regular window tint and if i can what % do i use?

  • @kingofkingZ5 Its a vinyl you can purchase it at our online store

  • @kingofkingZ5 Its a vinyl, you can get it at our online store

  • Love it dude, just a quick question. First off can you just use window tint to do those? And how do you get it so it doesn't peel back?

  • @defmex18 No you cant use window film. its an vinyl which you can purchase at our online store

  • it looked cooler with the reverse light tinted, but still looks sick

  • how dark is that tint??wat percent??

  • @soccer13kid its about a 15%

  • @jayboui thanks bro

  • I live in AZ and films wont last a month in the 100+ heat. I prefer paint but if you get pulled over...

  • looks good man.

  • i think niteshades spray is waaaayyyy easier

  • i would probably screw this up big time.
