This was actually pretty interesting. I got one on eBay for $2 and $5 shipping, came from Cupertino, CA, of all places, and had some heat damage to the plastic... I was afraid to open it. now that I see that this is all it takes... I'm a little less frightened by taking mine apart. it works, but sometimes errors up and needs to be restored... I thought I'd poke around inside and look for corrosion and such... and possibly also replace the battery, and, of course, give the gem a thorough clean.
rofl. ive dropped my nano hundreds of times. btw any other music player thats not suposed to be solid and construction worthy breaks much easier than apple products. get a case. it wont break.

It gave me an idea of how it looks like when you disassembly it, but I don't think this would be something I would try on mine.

sumtin is wrong with mine it wont connect to my pc or others but plays music any help?
D4682 2 years ago
you probably damaged the ribbon cable inside. the only way to fix that is with a new usb jack with a new ribbon cable attached.
i32a45d 2 years ago
i dont htink thats it cuz i just checked with it and the cable was fine and when it ran out of batteries it charged again
