EVERYONE i know who went from 2strokes to 4strokes said they would never change back to a 2stroke again.. 4 strokes are allot better then 2stroke engines. 2stroke engines only has power at high RPM's, thats it. 4stroke engines has the power when you need it and it runs much smoother and it's easier to handle all the power. And you don't have to shift all the time! So yeah, 4strokes are better.. no doubt

@dardysingder looks like it was doin a pretty good job to me btw this was alot of straights knotice when they did hit a corner the 450 caught up so put them on a supercross track and the 450 would more than likely rape the 500 depending on the rider but id put my money on the 450

@skifeizzle true thats why i said the 450 would win but also because the 500 is not made to ride supercross in my oppinon its more of a outdoor track and if you ran them in the out door tracks the 500 would probly win hands down but its just to much power on a small dome track

@skifeizzle i know it weighs less but it dont weigh to much less for it to matter about weight its the fact that the power is too much for a small track. think of it like this..... im using this as an example put a 1000 hp car on a small track like tsukuba vs a 500 hp car the 500 hp car has to brake less it can keep its momentum easier ......im not sayin the 2 stroke is bad im not im just saying its not always about power that wins sometimes less power is more

you don't have to run it wide open the whole time. More power means faster out of the corners, lighter means it'll handle better and the rider is less worn out throughout the movie. it would be faster.

hahaha nothing and i mean nothing comes close to the brutal power of the CR500R and other big bore 2 strokes....i ride a 99 CR250R and then got on my mates dads 500 and god damn they r fast. had a hard time keeping the front wheel down. very fast but they can b a bit hard to handle for first timers thats 4 sure

Crazioka, You obviously dont know much about bikes. The 4 stroke is more tractable in its power delivery, but a big bore 2 stroke would smoke any 4 stroke, any time of the day. Husaberg 650's are getting closer to the mark, though

i have a crf450 and a 94 cr500. no way not anytime of the day >>> it would be a miracle if that 450 had the power the 500 does, the 500 litteraly has neck snapping power,thats why the 450 race in a 250 class, lol there equivlent to a 250 2 stroke not a 500 2 stroke
