I live at an elevation of 7000 feet out side of the city so at night one can see the stars beaming brightly. Since the moon doesn't have an atmosphere, wouldn't it be obvious that the stars would appear to be super bright? Check out the moon landing photos. The photographers didn't consider the stars very well.
