Isn't it completely useless to run a car on this invention? You have to put energy into the water in order to split it into a hydrogen-oxygen mixture. Then you burn the hydrogen, which releases energy. The energy released is never greater than the energy invested, so you actually would make your car less efficient if you put in his invention.

Fail. I'm sorry but Fail. Even if there was a car that ran off water. Where would we get enough fresh water to power these cars. With a pending water crisis, there would be no way to keep up with the trend that would come. We would have to filter saltwater which would raise the overall price of water. And there would be also the profit problem. Some greedy guy would violate the rights of some human for profit. This idea isn't cost effective and is immoral when you think about the repercussions.

How about using a pure water engine that converts the water with electricity. At first, you can plug it into your solar powered home, then air intake on the car can have a fan inside it hooked up to a generator that powers the battery, making it last a little longer. There you go, no fossil fuels. :P

The torch is cool I guess.... as a normal tool.. probably more expensive to run. Nothing is actually being powered by water. It's using electricity.... a lot of which comes from fossil fuels..... so this technology is great in that fact that it can RUN ON ELECTRICITY but it's not a new power source... we still need to turn our attention to the sun for that in my opinion...

this is not new, nor is it original! the technology of oxygen hydrogen welding, using electrolosis to separate the two elements, what he patented was a specific configuration of a electrolosis plate. he will be sued by miller industries who owns the original patent on the electrolosis to welding. i wont call it a hoax, but its just media sensationalized last years information to anyone educated. and what they are not telling you is the energy required for the electrolosis in the first place!

remember how they said he is running it as a gas hybrid? my bet, that gas engine is running a decent sized generator or at least spinning the original alternator which is producing the electricity needed for enough electrolosis to fuel a large truck. I also find the claims of consumption way uncredible! there are only so many h2o molecules present in a small quantaty, energy conservation is pretty clear! and I am pretty sure that a gallon of water does not contain anywhere near the energy claim.
