ha ha funny stuff my uncle set me this vid told me that my aunts friend set it to them, turns out my aunt was the blonde girl in the back row in the middle.
This is the same bunch of kids who are watching the lady flail around in a house on fire, yelling at her to find the exit sign. I wonder how many of these there were?
I was thinking the same thing. It's funny, everyone loves to say how "Sesame Street ain't like it used to be", but my kids watch it now and I think it's still pretty damn good. Mr. Noodle cracks me up.
Now because of this, I'm having thoughts of my cousin from New Jersey who got married last year. She used to get upset when Sesame Street went off for the day when she was a little girl. My mom and I used to watch the show when I was little. It's good to see something that makes you smile from your younger days.
The clip that scared me the most of all Sesame clips was the one where Luis and I think Bob (or some other Sesame human) had two big pieces of cardboard with a picture of a tunnel, and when they put the pieces together, a train came rushing through. I tell you, I would run out of the room crying. Does anyone remember this?
Yes, I remember that one, but I'd have to watch it again to remember if it scared me or not. I was very young, I think (2 or 3) I think I remember trying to do that myself with pieces of paper, hoping that a train would actually appear! LOL! So maybe I wasn't afraid, just had a lot of "magical thinking" (where a child believes something not really possible could happen) at the time.
I like this one. I also love the danger film where the man is walking in the city while reading his newspaper. Things that could hurt him keep just missing him, and he is completely unaware!
LOL! I remember that one! The wrecker (or whatever "the vehicle with big teeth" is called) almost gets him, but not quite, plus other things - doesn't he almost get hit by a semi at one point?
At the end, things finally catch up with him when he gets his arm caught in the revolving door of the building he enters, causing him to drop the paper!
@JasonSesame I'm looking forward to seeing that one again! I was scared when I was young because I didn't know what the thing was that owned the man in the end, but now at the age of 39, well...I hope things are different!
Okay..ever since I discovered these amazing clips I've been on an quest for another "danger" sketch.the one that scared me more than any other...it was animated and started with a rooster crowing and screaming the word "daaanngeerr!" followed by a really fast montage of dangerous things like fire and dark rooms...probably way too intense for today's kids..wondering if perhaps you (or ANYONE) would have that! Thank you!
I remember that one too! It was kinda scary. I remember seeing that one and would love to see it again. Without a doubt one of the scariest things they ever did on the show.
I love trollies! I have a replica of the Neighborhood Trolley from Mister Rogers' Neighborhood at home! We've had it for years, and we will never give it away! Never!
WIOW! I've seen the original danger film like this where a mand comes into a room and sees the danger sign on the door. He opened it and it exploded! Would you happen to have any more of these clips. I've already seen the one for exit with that panicing lady and the fire in her house. But if there's anymore let me know!
I always loved this! Still do! And what a weird-looking hat

Has there been any other ones like these besides the exploding door and the lady panicing in the fire?

I liked the funny ending...seemed like the guy was expecting the trolley to stop so he could get on, but it didn't!

I remember this one too. I would turn the volume down and stand beside the TV so I couldn't see it. I'd like to now though!!

Actually, the "train" is a trolley.
Trolleys have been around for so many decades in certain parts of the U.S.
