I can't dispute the idea of getting "close to" sounds using cheap stuff. I do it myself!! Yours sounds close. There are two things you need to change here. TUNE THE GUITAR...ITS OUT!! And you need to play the instrument the way Malcolm Young does. HE is the one you hear on the records. That crunchy rhythm. Angus just backs him up and wails the lead parts. But I will give you credit. Those pedals sound really good to be cheap. hehe. Thanks.

Here is a easier way. If you got a First Act Amp (I havent tried it on the SPiderline Amp yet) on the first act Amp turn the Bass (if you have this) and middle all the way off and treble all the way up and there ya go! If you go ta Distortion pedal that would make it sound better.

Great vid ! and you do exactly what I do when I play in my band, I also boost my overdrive pedal whith another overdrive for solo´s etc . but I dont use Behringer ;) . what a dumbass video, guys like you should be shot. two 2 pedals are 2 too much. if you cant afford a real setup, get a Epiphone sg/ Tokai sg (there are thousand allright copys around, dont get the cheapest) whatever and something like a Roland Cube or a tiny Marshall MG. take amps that simulate classic amps, best for a beginner.

But never go playing AC/DC with a metal axe with EMGs pickups ...

Cheaper, but still very good solution: SG copy guitar (I suggest the Vintage VS6, they are actually better than the epiphones, and cheaper too. they sound AMAZING) plus some amp simulation on your computer (like guitar rig, or line6 pod farm). Prices:

guitar: about $300

guitar rig software: it can be free if you dont mind piracy :P

plus you need some external hardware to be able to use guitar rig. I use a line6 toneport GX, thats around $100

so $400 total. And it sounds kick ass!!

I had the choice between Marshall JMP50, Marshall JCM800, Marshall Plexi 1987X, and 1959, JTM45, and all of them was least same price, and I need to tell you, that I've tried all of them before I bought one. And the best AC/DC tone (with SG Standard, with AY Sig Pickup) was JMP 50, Plexi was good for such songs as Riff Raff, or Higway to hell, but JMP was perfect for 1979-Now:)

Hell, all you have to do to get an Angus sound is plug an SG into a Marshall JTM45. Or you can do like what I do most of the time and get a killer sound, plug an Amercian Standard Fender Strat into a Marshall VS 265 and Hit OD1, and PW1. Bass up all the way, Gain on low, Master high, Treble little less than mid, Center little more than mid, and you'll sound just like Malcolm. Crank gain up a little and you'll sound like Angus.

so.. the Cort M600 are a bit expensiver.. than EVL-Z4..

I've never playing on the M600.. but i think its a bit better then EVL-z4.. because EVL-Z4 are a gothic-metal guitar :) But good too.. with fat sound.. :)

I prefere: Search a Dealer and play first on EVL-Z4 and M600.. and then buy your favorite :P
