Villa themost successful club of the nineteenth century
Villa the most successful club for three-quarters of the twentieth century
Villa Former Champions of Europe.
Villa currently the fourth most successful club...
Everton are a grand old historic club, but they are not a TRULY GREAT club like Villa. Villa gave the world this great game AND have won the game's greatest prizes. Aston Villa's history and influence in the game is unrivalled.
UR last fa cup was in 1957 ares was 1995 we have won 3 since 1957. use have won 1 league in a 100 years are last league was 1987 we have have won many trophys when the english divisions were much tougher and had more teams in the division use won most of your trophys in the 18th century when there was like 16 teams in the division we got robbed of euro football when we had argubly the 1 of the greatest sides england has ever seen
villa are 4th most sucessful...duno if you meant 4th or 5th as the 4th came first and so did everton i assumed you meant everton were 4th...but just wanted to clarify :)
did merson ince gazza and mcmanaman play in same era? if yes, that midfield, with shearer/ fowler/ wright/ sheringham/ cole/ ferdinand playin in front of them never did owt 4 england beggars belief
who was in goal for Everton ? Was it Richard Wright ? No probably Gerrad. Everton were on a role in this season and were a hard team to beat at Gooderson. Villa did well to win there that day.
Shame the FA cup final was poor and they had a guilt edged chance to equilise muffeled.
Everton - Villa games can be quite good - going back to 1977 and all that.
As an Everton fan i would not say we were on a roll in fact we were shite that season and most teams did us at Goodison and away for that matter, good stat by bigdunk9 with out the likes of Everton and Aston Villa football would not exsist on the scale it does now in this country, two massive clubs with great histories.
Way was the score in this match???

Nice 3-1 win by Everton over Aston Villa in FA Cup.
Tim Cahill's a great player. And watch out for Victor Anichebe. He is powerful with the ball and tough to contain. Everton needs to hang on to him.

Villa, only with Man Utd,Liverpool and Nott Forest won the European cup but not Everton.

i think you might have got your centuries muddled up. 1900-1999 is the 20th century not the 19th century.
